We had a separate cottage which was very comfortable. The entire experience was highly positive. Ambience of the old farm, courteous, friendly staff, great food. One thing we really liked was that there were a number of fireplaces throughout the reception area. These had nice, cozy fires on most of the time. Very relaxing.

How do you describe staying in an olive grove with 2000-year-old olive trees in the family rooms? It was a most special experience. The eight course dinner paired with olive oils and Puglian wines was stunning. Every detail was perfect. We will be back again and again. Puglia is the real Italy.

Very expensive for the type of rooms offered. Wonderful exquisite food and a very pleasant garden. Shame on the personnel and the way things are being coordinated inside the Masseria. Guests are treated just as cash machines, numbers to fill up the business arks, an "agrodolce" experience. Restaurant really deserves a visit, but there are more charming, unique, non-touristy places...

We stayed in the masseria with two kids for 4 nights and enjoyed the visit 100%. I cannot even describe all the wonderful meals the kitchen prepared, but we had 8 courses on one evening and mixture of 4 and 6 meals on the other night. We also had kids menu and one of us needed gluten free food and...

Olive trees are awesome and the grounds are pristine. We enjoyed an 8 course meal twice and a 4 course meal and loved every one of them. Loved the fresh simplicity of the food -- all of the produce is grown on the farm and you can taste the difference. Dinner includes wines paired with each course and the waiters...

We visited here on the 9th September for our friends wedding which was on the 10th. This was to be where the reception was to be held. We and the other guests arrived on the Friday at this beautiful place, the bedrooms were lovely, the communal areas were really nice and comfortable. We had pre dinner drinks courtesy of the...

Dear Guests, thanks for all the compliments and for being close us about what happened. A meteorological event of this importance has never damaged our area, and to see walls of 1700 under the force of nature has left everyone speechless. Thanks for pointing out our emergency management despite the tears. Luckely, we have a strong team like our olive...

For a farm hotel that advertises “Let us know so we can make you happy,” no one smiles. Perhaps they should stay with farming. Masseria Frantoio has what seems to be the most unpleasant and unhappy staff, from reception to restaurant. We arrived late afternoon and were met by the only young lady working. She was really out of her...

Dear Guests, unfortunately you did not pointed out any positive aspect of our House, differently to thousands of other travelers which always emphasize in a private way or with public instruments, such as Tripadvisor, the smile and the kindness of our staff and the hosts; the love, the care and the abundance for what we prepare with our agricultural products...

Had lunch here last week, eight courses. They call it a tasting menu but the courses are quite big so make sure you're hungry. You won't need to eat for a day afterwards. Beautiful setting friendly efficient staff. But the highlight is the food, creative beautifully presented prepared with loving care. Of the eight courses, six were vegetarian and it...

Superb service, and excellent food. Wonderful atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff. We highly recommend Il Frantoio and hope to come back. One does need a care to get around, but this adds to the adventure.

Overall we were disappointed with our stay. The room we were assigned was old fashioned with a display of 19th century women's clothing and underwear draped over some furniture outside the door to our room. The dining arrangements at night were not explained by the staff and we were not up to the 8 course degustation on our first night...
