Beautiful hotel in the valley of apple trees. The spacious hotel with all it’s cosy corners is beautiful renovated and surrounded by a large garden with a swimmingpool for adults and a kidspool with slide playground and kidsclub. The breakfast has an enormous variety from fresh fruit to fresh juice you can make yourself to show cooking of eggs and pancakes. The light all inclusive formula makes that you can enjoy a fresh pasta and salades every lunch. The dinners are high cuisine and delicious. The staff is absolutely friendly with special thanks to Tomas! He’s the best! The rooms are exquisite of high quality and cosy. Good beds, nice bedroom with separate toilet and spacious balcony with jacuzzi and beautiful view!

Excellent hotel in so many ways. Photos of the adults-only spa almost don’t do it justice. It was superb - lots of areas to relax, and fantastic saunas and steam room, as well as salt water pool. Food was exceptional. Wonderful and delicious variety every evening, as well as very generous breakfast options and afternoon snacks (which were more like a lunch). Room was fantastic - well designed, and exceptionally comfortable beds and linen, and extensive pillow menu. In addition to all of the amazing food and facilities, the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Looking forward to a return visit!

We used the hotel as location for our bike holidays. Overall the service is quite nice and attentive. There are also several special events during the week. There are different rooms and some of them are newly renovated. We had a very spacious suite which was well equipped and a very large balcony. The spa is quite new and large, especially the adult spa is very well done. The dinner is quite good with a wide range of wines. Overall a very good hotel but for the 5 stars and the price the service and the attention to the details should be one level higher. The hotel also offers a charging station for electrical cars which will be charged.

After some fabulous stays to South Africa, Paris and NYC this year, we were sceptical about whether we can be excited about another hotel but - wow - did we have a great stay! Helpful, attentive and very friendly staff, beautifully renovated rooms, consistently fantastic food, luxurious spa (we loved the split between adults only and families) and lots of activities (bicycling on dedicated paths, hiking, swimming and kids entertainment) made all of us very happy. We had two rooms connected by a front hallway creating a private suite. Our room had a heated jacuzzi outside on the wrap-around balcony and the kids had a beautiful stand alone tub in the room - wonderful! Beds were some of the most comfortable we've slept in in any hotel. If there is anything which was less than perfect in our eyes it is the proximity to the town. We were expecting a hotel in the middle of nature with pristine views of hills and fields rather than of the town with mountains behind (our first room was even overlooking a warehouse building - the second however over beautiful orchards). It took a bit of mindset adjusting but at the end it didn't bother us at all and we even enjoyed the view of the scenic town in such a dramatic setting. Overall it was an amazing stay that we still reminisce about. We will certainly come back again.

We stayed five nights and it we had a great time. Staff ist actually super friendly and very attentive. Especially during dinner time staff is very nice helping with explaining local dishes and recommend respective wines for the dishes. Most guests claim to be experts but still seem to have no clue. The hotel developed within the last few years and the additional areas, especially the Spa-area are from great quality and very clean and well maintained! The adults only area is a real plus, so is the kids playhouse with support for 4+ years old kids with supervision throughout the day. For younger ones they are happy to organize a babysitter. Food is great, from decent quality and with enough variety. There is no a la carte, though they adjust to special orders (especially for kids). Rooms are very cozy, just the fridge did not really cool. But you’ve got a water boiler and coffee maker. Parking is also good out and inside. Location is very central though if you are a hiker and not a biker you will need to use the car most days you want to have access to nice trails. The only downside is the price policy on drinks. Perspectives might differ but I think it’s a bit overpriced. However, we would come back no doubt.

What a lovely 5 Star hotel. Everyone was professional and very helpful. Restaurant was devine. Did not matter what you decided to eat from the 2 menu options, everything was delicious and of highest Quality. Wellness area was clean with everything one could ask for. The surrounding area and the Town of Laces (Latsch) are beautiful with high mountains and lots of opportunities to be active (if you get fed up relaxing in the Hotel Spa of the Paradies). The Wine Sommelier could answer all our questions and the recommended Wine to the Cheese Course was perfect. We will definitely think about staying here again. LOVED IT!

This has been the fourth time we have stayed at Hotel Paradies in Laces. We (my husband, son of 12 and I) booked eight nights in August ... and it was once again a fantastic experience. The last time we were here was 6 years ago. It was good to see that they had refurbished the hotel to a higher standard but remaining accessable for families. The hotel, the rooms, the swimming pools and the food are lovely. The activities outside and inside the hotel are varied and focussed on enjoying the scenery from rafting to hiking and cycling. Tip: Make sure that you save enough room for the weekly dessert buffet which is devine ....I have to think hard to address points of improvement...a week at Paradies is not cheap but it is worth it!

My wife and I went to South Tyrol to do Toergellen. The main attraction of this hotel is the SPA and the swimming pool. Its fantastic. The hotel itself is nice but not 5 Star. The rooms are ok 4 star. The area is nice and very sunny all year . About 30 min drive from Meran.

Hotel Paradies is situated in Laces, very pleasant small city in the area Vinschgau cca 29 km from Merano. The hotel is surrounded by the apple plantations and the vineyards. The whole area is the eden for the bikers of all categories and for the mountain walking. The hotel itself is located in the very quiet part of the city but not so far from the city centre and the main attractions. It is about 15 minutes to walk to the cableway that will bring you up to the mountains where is a lot of possibilities for walking in the beatiful nature. Next to the cableway station you can start your bike tour on Via Augusta road, maybe the best road for the bikes that I have ever seen. The road goes from Laces in both directions, we used the direction to Merano going in the charming valley arround the river. The whole road is very easy, very good maintained and suitable also for the families with the children and not too experienced bikers. If you are tired you can use the train back, there is the railway station in every city on the route and the trains are going every hour. The hotel Paradies offers the rent a bike free of charge, only the e-bike rental must be paid. The hotel is a typical 5 stars Alps hotel, but is more familiar and friendly, with very cosy and clean rooms and very kind staff. The food is excellent, mostly from the local and bio products, the breakfasts are opulent and the dinners rich and very tasty. There was renovated the wellness area in this year, the swimming pool is partly covered and the whole space around is fantastic solved from the architectonic point of wiev evoking memories of the similar facilities in Asia. Also the other part of the wellness is very nice particularly the separate outside standing sauna. Since beginning it is evident that the owners of the hotel take the great care about their property and are doing the utmost for satisfaction of their clients . Thank you very much for your kind effort, we will come back again with the pleasure and we recommend this hotel to all that wish to spend the colourful and unforgetable holiday.
