I went for a dinner with family and friends . A striking and spectacular views . Here end the positive things. We ate very badly. Starters of meats prepared in advance that had sweated, given the heat of June. House wine poor. The two first courses were really bad; one even had the pasta too cooked and gloomy. The location was really bad to find. It took 2 hours after asking residents in the vicinity. 2 miles up a remote track to the hotel. It was absolutely deserted there was a receptionist and the chef. We changed rooms because there was mould under the window. The receptionist was pleasant but no mention of helping us with our bags...

Hi we stayed at this hotel for two nights last week. On our arrival we thought that everything looked lovely -great location beautiful building from the outside. On the way to being shown our room we were told that the restaurant was closed due to " technical reasons". After a LOT of persuasion the management finally agreed to bring 2...

Stressed and tired we came here to get away, rest up and enjoy a few days over my (February) birthday. And we weren't disappointed. La Solaia's beautiful hill-top position provides breathtaking 360 degree views of the Tuscan countryside. The drive up to it may be daunting for Italians with their precious cars, as the road is at times a challenge....
