We stayed in one of the small cabins for two nights (cabin 1). The cabin had an amazing view overlooking the fjord and was situated right next to a waterfall so we could hear the waterfall whenever we had the windows or doors opened. It was a one bedroom cabin with a living room/kitchen, a bathroom, and a terrace where we could sit outside to enjoy the view of the fjord. Overall, the cabin was old but I think it was sufficient for our stay. If you have an electric car, there is also charging facilities near the reception area.

We stayed at Fossen Camping with children in a two bedroom house. It seems newly renovated, was very clean and well sound insulated, had comfortable bathroom, barbeque stove and terrace, well equipped kitchen. It was very delightful to have a view to the fjord and its cruise ships. Also there are several foot paths to the fjord from the camping so there is no need to walk the main busy street. Definitely would stay again!

A lovely and cozy cabin that overlooks the beautiful and amazing Geiranger fjord. Up on the hill, staying beside a small waterfall while viewing some spectacular views of mountains and the tiny town below. Good service by the hosts. Some hiking spots nearby too.

The easiest way how to describe this accommodation is great. This is privately owned accommodation and it is obvious that the owners really care. The welcome here was warm and we were given keys from two cabins so we could choose in which one to stay. We chose one with probably greatest view in whole Norway - "our" terrasse was facing directly to Geiranger fjord. It was like looking at beautiful wallpaper while having coffee. The cabin was simply but cosy with electric fire place. It is about 3 kms far from the fjord but the view is worth even to walk this distance. The surroundings is great for hiking and if you are not a big fun of hiking you can take a boat trip around fjord. Geiranger fjord and Fossen Camping - highly recommended!

Cabins were spacious, clean and well-equipped, and good value for money for Geiranger. The best part is the superb views over Geiranger from the balcony. Owner was nice and helpful. The campsite is 10 minutes drive from the centre of Geiranger and also handy for the hiking routes from Westeras. We were happy with our stay.

The small size cottage is quite cozy and nice. It's possible for three people with bath and kitchenet. Possible to see Geiranger Fjord from the balcony. Only shortage is that it is a bit distance from the center or water if you dont have a car. Half an hour uphill walk from tourist information.

Were there in June '11 with my wife and 3-year old daughter.
The cabins are pretty good with all necessary amenities like shower and toilet. Our cabin has two sleeping rooms with bunk bed in each room, and living room combined with kitchen. There also was wifi in cabin, but it is not free, you should pay for it via some Hotmail service (price is adequate, not insane like everything in Norway :) ).
The cabin has a terrace for relaxing at good weather (unfortunately we haven't it).
Also there is a small kids playground with a swing and similar stuff.
The roads in camping are terrifying, but you should get used to that in Norway, so be extra careful when driving.
Forgot the most important. The view. Fossen camping have a superb view to Geirangerfiord, you hardly can find a place in Norway with such valuable scenery behind your window when you're having your dinner!

We were there in Aug 2017 and had booked two small cabins for couples. The cabins were clean and cozy. Kitchen was well equipped with utensils and it was a treat to cook as you can cook and enjoy the great view of Geriranger fjord at the same time. It was a treat to sit on balcony, enjoy the view and sip a cup of hot chocolate/tea. We took our dog who was equally enjoying the surroundings. The owner is nice and humble man. The check in and check out were smooth. Overall an amazing and memorable experience in moderate budget. Would definitely like to come back soon.

Room Tip: If you like quiet surrounding, ask for cabin away from waterfall.

The view is amazing and they serve a very tasty breakfast for to that cost 135kr (cheap for the Norwegian standard). We slept hearing the sound of the waterfall (fossen). I really recommend a weekend here!!!

This place is amazing. We had the executive suites which were the most expensive but worth every penny. What a view from the balcony!, very clean, comfortable rooms, and beds, great kitchen, strong shower, and the nicest owner, who welcomed us with a smile. Don't hesitate on this property
