My wife and I recently spent a week at this 'resort'. Clearly the beauty of the gardens and location have been previously well reported on. That is also the case as regards the cats and birds that frequent the hotel grounds. I would also make the observation that the cats are everywhere and will attempt to enter the apartments. During...

The hotel is in a traditional style, set in a beautiful, well maintained tropical garden and just moments from the beach. The rooms are not luxurious but more than adequate and well equipped with fridge, microwave oven, and hob.The beds are firm but we slept well and we had no problems with noise from adjoining rooms. We stayed on a...

Room type is standard - spacious, well equipped but slightly old-fashioned apartments - but varying in terms of view and aspect. Ours was less favoured, perhaps because we were on a single week's package - but still lovely and secluded with direct access to the grounds via our terrace. The grounds are so beautiful and can't be faulted. They are...

The hotel is situated at the end of a street, and then up a side street, we found the check in very smooth, with the receptionist being very helpful and good English. We had only to wait just over an hour to get into our room. The room was very spacious and to our surprise it had an electric cooker,...

Stayed at the Hacienda from 15th to 22nd January. Yes, it is in a great location, but the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything going on next door. We were lucky we didn't have anyone near us for four days, then two Germans arrived and unfortunately we heard every word they uttered, every time they flushed the...

We stayed here for 2 nights in January 2017 before moving on to the north in a car hired at the hotel which was hassle-free. Everything was clean, the gardens very pleasant and the room allocated offering more than expected. The pool was disappointing as it was cold and not deep - so we did not swim. We enjoyed the...

My Husband and I stayed for four nights at the Hacienda San Jorge from 24th to 28th January 2017 and had a very enjoyable stay. We loved strolling in the wonderful well kept gardens and seeing the cats, ducks and parrots. I requested a room on a high floor and was very happy with the one we were allocated in...

First the good points: The hotel is convenient for the airport and Santa Cruz. The staff are really helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The gardens and buildings are really beautiful. The spirits measures are huge! Now the bad points: The beds are far too hard. The food in the restaurants is quite poor, don't rely on the...

Great place - a bedroom, bathroom and kitchen/dining/sitting room with a pull out bed (useful when one's husband snores), decor Canarian style, mattress fine, I've stayed in far worse and paid far more in the UK. Breakfast great, it's the only time you realise just how many people are staying here. Spotlessly clean, people always cleaning or else tidying the...

I stayed here in the week up to Christmas and couldn’t have been more pleased. The rooms were a great size, lots of space and cleaned daily. We opted for the half board with breakfast and dinner and were never left hungry- every sitting there was lots of food on offer to cater for a wide variety of taste. The...
