I must speak as I find this site is lovely and have been coming here for the last 2 years as so near to home for a quick weekend away we've brought family and friends with us on occasion and have had some great weekends here. We've got a boat which we can go up the river with and Kim...

What a shame this large site that oozes so much potential must be run by owners who have either given up on it or simply have no clue of how to run a good business. I had emailed River Wye camping 5 days before my plan to visit to enquire about availability, info on prices etc but had zero response....

Pitched up and camped for 1 night. The campsite websites quotes shops and cafes but these are a thing of the past and now derilict. The site is in need of a bit of investment to update toilst blocks and bar etc. The site is ideally located for canoeing down the river. I would recommend if you are staying here...

No wonder there was room to stay over the bank holiday!!! We were crammed into the family area like sardines!! FACILITIES...VERY POOR.... 4 ladies toilets available for the whole day for the whole campsite!! 2 ladies showers (which were VERY small & you had to pay £1 for 11 minutes) 2 additional toilets & 1 shower opened from tea time....

I attended the site for the August bank holiday and have to say, it massively let me down. The site was very over crowded and we were put on what they called the Family Field. This was a triangle of grass with roads along the two longest sides. The campsite is open to the general public as there is a...

We went august bank holiday weekend. arrived on the Saturday, had to pay for 3 nights even though we only wanted 2 nights/ Cost was £90 for a family of 4 adults and a 1 year old baby.. very expensive in my opinion for a very dated, dirty site, which has so many health hazards its untrue. The Health and...

We were camping with a 4 and 6 year old and the site was terrible. We're harden campers and we won't be returning. The location is great and the site has such potential being near the river, but money has not been spent on that site in a decade. The toilet block is a make shift hut and FOUR toilets...

We stayed here for the 3rd time as a family of 6 over August Bank Holiday, we knew it would be busy so we booked in advance hoping to get a good space. We were told to park exactly in the middle of the field (even though there were spaces around the outside). The 'wardens' were putting people so close...

We came to River Wye Camping over the August bank holiday and pitched in the "family field". The tents were squeezed in like sardines which probably went against all health and safety guidelines (if they had any) but this site is cheap so we figured we'd make the best of it. There were seasonal toilets near the field which were...

£7 for one night in a campervan is good value anywhere (non-electric). However, the place felt very tired, messy and well - odd! I certainly wouldn't stay again if I was planning a longer stay with my family. I'd want more space ( All the electric hook up pitches were really crammed together), better loos and just a place with...
