I had a fabulous 5 days with Marion & Gordon in their beautifully appointed house. My room was perfect, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was beautifully cooked with lovely fresh ingredients plus an array of fresh fruit and cereals on the buffet. Nothing was too much trouble for these wonderful hosts, their pleasant smiling demeanour added to a most memorable stay. I can’t wait to return and maybe see those gorgeous red squirrels again. Thank you Marion & Gordon

This is the place to be in Newtonmore. It is a very cosy and typical victorian landhouse and very well maintained by the owner. The owner and her husband are very friendly and welcoming. Marion, the lady of the house, gave us a ride to the restaurant in town so we could have a few drinks while having dinner. Breakfast was excellent , more than enough choice and a very nice room for breakfast. Fresh fruit and lots of cereal, yoghourt and of course a choice in scottish breakfast. Go for it!

Our stay was in early May for two nights. From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome. Marion and her son helped us with our luggage. Entering Coig na Shee was a real delight with everything being immaculate. Our room was warm, spacious and very comfortable. The furnishings were high quality. Marion and Graeme have certainly spared no expense in the furnishings and decor. Our breakfasts were excellent and plentiful. Marion was very attentive. We would highly recommendable stay at Coig na Shee. If we are ever in the area we will definitely make this our first choice for staying in Newtonmore.

We stayed here recently as we were attending a wedding in nearby castle. The minute that we entered the house we knew that we were somewhere special. Everywhere was cosy and welcoming as well as spotlessly clean. The owners have thought of everything. Our room was very spacious, well equipped and had a very comfortable bed. Our breakfast was delicious. We consider this delightful place to be five star in every respect.
