Beautiful guest house, beds very comfortable, lovely setting and the hot water bottles just fun to use! Marian and Graeme were welcoming, provided a fabulous & varied breakfast and tips on local places when requested! The dinner recommendation ( The Letterbox Cafe) was outstanding! Wild Flour for lunch or tea was also delicious and fun. Could not recommend more highly!!

If looking for a wonderful B&B in Newtonmore, look no further. Marion and Graeme are the consummate hosts and caregivers. On our recent trip, excessive rain shut down all the trains in Scotland and my wife and I had to travel by bus to Newtonmore. The closest we could get was nearby Aviemore. Marion and Graeme kindly assisted us in getting to their lovely home and then back to catch our bus again to Edinburgh. The home is lovely, the hiking in the area divine, and everything about Coig na Shee is, in one word, awesome. Thank you Marion and Graeme for such a spectacular stay. Looking forward to our next visit.

Stayed for 4 nights and can’t fault our stay. The hotel was amazing a fantastic building with a lovely garden even seeing red squirrels and plenty bird life. Inside the hotel was immaculate and our bedroom was well equipped. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and answered questions about the local area. One of the nicest places we have stayed.

Our stay in Newtonmore was brief...just two nights, but Marion and Graeme were lovely hosts and very sociable and accomodating. Their guesthouse was clean and tidy. Lovely building. Breakfast was great. Would definitely consider staying again when next in the area.

This is our third time staying in this lovely place. Large, comfortable room, good views, kind and thoughtful hosts, good breakfasts (the specials were delectable), and it was great to be able to borrow maps and books as we needed them

This guest house is an impressive, very well maintained and recently renovated Victorian villa and is located on a large plot with mature trees, close to the Wildcattrail with the best opportunities for walking and mountain hiking. From the house or directly in the park you can watch red squirrels and numerous species of birds at the feeding grounds. Our large double room and the ensuite bathroom were perfectly clean, well furnished and comfortable. The bed was also very comfortable and we slept well in the clear mountain air. The spacious breakfast room was bright and friendly furnished with light wood. The very friendly hosts Marion and Graeme served a delicious breakfast with some specialties and provided us with packed lunches on request. We got valuable recommendations for things to do in the Cairngorm and Laggan area. During several stays we always felt at home here. Big thanks to the hosts!…

It was a pleasure to meet you all on your way south from your NC500 trip. Hope you managed to do your walk around Loch an Eilein before heading back down to your stay in Anstruther, and the weather was kind to you for your final few days. Thank you for coming to stay with us.
