We were on holiday in Kingussie and after being turned away at the Tipsy Laird, as no chef, we were told to head to the Silverford. The Silverford used to be amazing and it is sad to see how run down it has gotten after a couple of change of owners in recent years. The decor

Unfortunately, myself and my family did not have a pleasant experience dining here. The waiting staff were lovely and friendly, but that is the only positive thing I can say. Every dish that we ordered was of poor quality (ranging from a curry to a venison steak), and the curry

We are sorry that this reviewer did not enjoy their experience at The Glen but we do try our very best which is appreciated by the majority of our customers as reflected in recent reviews. We take all customer comments seriously amd are followed up to ensure that we are able to provide only the best experience in the future. This incident is recalled in our 'daily record book' for 01st January and we see that the curry was removed from the bill but we have no record of any problems being reported at the time wth any other dish. We never use frozen vegatables, always fresh, and yes, whilst our chips are frozen they are of the highest quality as remarked upon in several other reviews.
