This was our second time out with Rick and Dorla! Had so much fun kayaking!! . We brought our 70 year old mother that had never kayaked before in her life , she loved it! Our cabins were so beautiful , so quiet and rustic. I loved the bathhouse, perfect to calm your muscles after a long day of kayaking.... More

Our family of four ( my two teens, husband, and myself) had spent three wonderful days at the Seaside Adventures cabins in August 2013. Our cabin had a beautiful view of the cove and the sunsets were gorgeous. The place is rustic, but quite comfortable. We really didn't miss much of anything as far as comforts go. The kayaking was... A buddy and I went with Seaside Adventure for just a day of kayaking. The experience was great! Just the two of us and a guide, as well as the otters and eagles. The scenery was amazing. Highly recommend kayaking with Seaside Adventure.

After a nice 30-minute water taxi ride, we arrive in the early evening with the owners, Rick and Dorle, on the shore with a couple wwoofers (assistants) there to greet us and help unload our baggage. Rick takes us up to our cabin, one bedroom with a queen bed and a futon and dining table in the large open area.... More

I cannot say enough good things about Rick and Dorle's "Seaside Adventure." We joined them for a casual kayaking trip around the bay and stayed one night at the cabin on the island. After taking a sea taxi from the Homer spit to Little Kayak Island we were greeted by a yodeling Rick. We were helped with our bags, got... More

We stayed two nights and did the all day kayak trip and what a great experience! Rick and Dorla make you feel right at home and do everything they can to make you feel comfortable. The kayak trip was outstanding with Rick guiding you through the bays and inlets adding his expert knowledge on nature and history of the area.... More

The all day trip with Rick and Dorla was my first ever kayak trip. I'm not much of a water person, so the calmness of the areas we traveled to was a great experience for me. The two of them have a vast knowledge of the area and are so easy going. Even in a few hours, you feel like... More

My husband and I stayed with Richard and Dorle last August and I am embarrasingly only just getting around to writing a review now that I sit here hot-as-can-be in Texas wishing I was back there! A Seaside Adventure is primarily a guided kayak tour outfitter in Homer (we stumbled upon them in a TA forum about kayaking). However, when... More
