Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed here for two nights on our European tour. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and any drinks we wanted through the day or evening were made available to us. Lots of good places to visit, the best, in my opinion, was Plansee, a fantastic aquamarine lake with views out of this world.

We felt very good in this family run guesthouse. You can see that the owners pay attention to details. We were given a spacious and clean room. The breakfast was tastefully simple, even if it was lacking hot food. The playground is a big plus for families with kids. Our only regret is that we stayed there only for a night and we couldn't visit more of the surroundings. The Bavarian castles are a short, 30-40 minutes, relaxed car drive away.

My husband and I spent one night here last week before heading to Fussen and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality and cleanliness of the hotel. It was very easy to find and there was ample parking. We were warmly greeted and shown to our room. The family obviously cares very much about details and appearances. Not a thing to say about the room/bathroom! Even my picky husband was pleased. As noted by other reviewers, it is located very close to a busy road but that didn't cause much of a problem for us. I was slightly surprised that it wasn't more tucked away when we first arrived based on what I had read on their website however. There were a bunch of games available for guests in the common area and a playground for children. Nice touches for families. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed here 1 night on our way to Italy. The hotel is conveniently close to the highway and still quiet enough. Although the pictures suggest a real 'mountain location', it's situated next to a busy road. Luckily at night there was little traffic. The rooms are spacious and very clean? The breakfast was much better than we had expected. Don't forget to bring cash as you can't pay with credit card (which was not mentioned when we booked it through booking.com).

We stayed here for 4 nights during our two week trip to Germany/Austria. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Graben. The breakfast was fresh, meat, bread, yogurt, hardboiled eggs, cheese, standard Austria/Germany fresh breakfast. The rooms were spacious, clean and had some nice balconies looking at the Ehrenberg castles across the river in Reutte. The Reutte Tourist Card you get for staying here MADE our vacation. Everyday we went up the gondola in Reutte for free (great starting point for hiking or just fabulous views with a beer) and relaxed during the end of the day by going to Reutte's spa/bathhouse for free for 2 hours. You also get free access to the castles in Reutte as well. A HUGE value. There were tons of games, a ping-pong table and jungle-gym for kids to play on. A fabulous place to stay if you're a family with rambunctious kids. There are a few negatives for this place: It is on the main road running through Hofen, its not too loud but there's definitely traffic noise when you're sitting outside on the balcony. In addition its a little outside of town, you'll definitely need a car if you stay here. There's a bus stop but I never saw one drive by. The only last note is more of a preference than a true "negative." I'm pretty sure my wife and I were the only true couple staying here, the rest were families with kids young and old. If you're looking for a romantic honeymoon retreat this may not be it, but if you're traveling with your family or don't mind kids playing pingpong while you're reading on the balcony then I say go for it!

This was one of the best stays in our student group's two weeks in Europe. The rooms are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, the food is good, and the hosts are welcoming. A couple of disadvantages are that there wasn't any activity for the students in the evening within walking distance that we could find, and that it was a cold night for summer when we were there and the heat was off. The owner who had cooked our dinner in the evening was friends with our tour leader, and she stood on the steps of the hotel and waved to us as our bus drove away.

This was a pleasant surprise for our first night in Europe! Very clean with a wonderful atmosphere. The meals provided were delicious. And the views of the Alps and the Ehrenberg Castle Ruins were just amazing. Can't wait to go back to that part of the world; will definitely stay there again!

A comfortable hostel located in the outer part of town. Clean rooms with shared ensuites. Clean common meal areas. Basic grounds that are well kept. Plently of car parking spaces. I would double check the booking as ours went missing but at least they had space.
