This is the best hotel around. The food is ok, the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. Do not expect so much more in a small town in Central Ghana. There are a few otjer hotels in town, but all are much worse.

I stayed 1 night in a higher price category. The room was ok, the WIFI was brocken in the total hotel, the lady at the front desk was extremely unfriendly and had definitely no energy to even get up from her TV-watgching position on the couch when guest want to talk to her, the service in the restaurant did not... i spent three nights at premier palace during the funeral of the Late Honourable I.K. Adjei-Mensah. 1) the rooms were stuffy and smelly, 2)the bed sheets were bad and discolored, 3)the bath tiles were also stained and obviously unwashed or scrubbed and the general hygeine of the room was poor 4)the soap had a bad smell, 5)the reception and bar... We always stay at Premier Palace Hotel when we travel south from Burkina Faso. The Hotel has good food, both Ghanaian or Continental. We have enjoyed their menu. The rooms have really big beds, warm showers and free wifi. Breakfast is included and is a British full breakfast with baked beans, saussage, bread and fried egg or boiled egg, coffee,... More

Lots of noise, church or rehearsal room for hymns, too late at night. Probably not audible in all rooms, we had this luck though;-) Bathroom was a disaster, but you can expect this when you travel to such countries. So do not make too many demands ;-)

Very basic. Tiles in bath were ungrouted. No amenities. Very dirty rug in front of bath. One cardboard towel. Had to put on bug spray to sleep as various flying things kept landing on me. Only one outlet available for charging-had to decide whether to charge or plug in the lamp to read. Free wifi but impossibly slow. BUT, it... More

We stayed for three nights in one of the medium priced rooms. It was a pleasant surprise and better than expected from reviews. Of course you must judge it by Ghanaian standards - that's only fair - it's in Ghana and has to battle with the difficulties that represents such as power cuts etc. - though I wasn't aware of... This hotel is very primitive by US standards but considered good for this region of Ghana. The first room I was given had no shower (pipes were missing) so I was moved to a second room that faced the highway and courtyard area near the entrance doors. It was very loud but I had earphones that drowned out the noise... More

I agree with the reviewer who pointed out that to compare Ghanaian hotels to those in the States would be grossly unfair. If the air conditioning works, the sheets are clean and the towels smell fresh, you're way ahead of the game. This bathroom was unusual in that there was plenty of hot water for my early morning shower. However,... More

I spent over two weeks traveling around Ghana, and this hotel was recommended. The location is poor - outside of the town. You really feel like you are at a motel on a highway. The rooms are noisy - with the worst rooms being along the highway. The service was good - and the internet cafe is a real boon... More
