This is a very late review as we stayed at this lovely hotel in September 2023 Superb, spotlessly clean, very friendly. The staff could not do enough for us and were good fun as well, enjoying to the all round enjoyment of our stay. Food was delicious and plentiful with a variety of different dishes. Service was faultless. A big thank you to Sam who picked us up from the airport, and with whom we spent a day with enjoying a very informative and interesting trip around the island towards the end of our fortnight. A most enjoyable holiday on this stunning island. Not a complaint at all but just for the record, when we return, which we hope to do so, we would visit a little later in the year as although the temperature was pleasant, our personal choice would have been for it to be a little warmer, but that was our error. However the hotel itself and its staff all come Highly recommended.

A magnificent hotel in the north-west of the island, Seapoint Boutique Hotel. Upon your arrival you will find in the reception the nice and very kind girls Mrs. Arena and Mrs. Isha, or a very helpful receptionist Mr. Sanjiv. I just returned in Italy from this magnificent, recently renovated place. The rooms, perfectly cleaned like all the common areas of the hotel, still smelled new. A beautiful beach with crystal clear water. There are enough sunbeds for all guests, there is no need to get up early in the morning to "occupy" a place as happens in many other hotels. It’s really amazing how kind everyone is, your every wish will be fulfilled. They know how to make you feel very important. The General Manager Mr. Kevin is a very nice and incredibly helpful person. He personally welcomes all new guests, always present and kind. The à la carte restaurant offers a different menu every evening, all high quality products. It was all delicious, compliments to the chef. You have to try a cocktails created by Mr. Anoop, always a great choice, he is a true artist. I had an opportunity to stay in the villa . It looked like a 7 stars place. The pictures on the web don't showing enough, the reality is much better. On the ground floor there is a terrace, a large living room, bathroom. On the first floor are two bedrooms with two bathrooms. The second floor of the villa is the best part. A private spa with two massage beds, a large terrace where you can sunbathe in complete tranquility and privacy with a beautiful jacuzzi tub and another service bathroom. Simply incredible. Very pleasant massage done by Mrs. Sara, a very experienced therapist. What to say….it was a fantastic and relaxing stay. Impossible not to feel pampered. Many thanks again to General Manager Mr. Kevin. Regards at the front desk for Arena, Isha, Sanjiv. In catering, for the impeccable service my thanks go especially to Mr. Shravan (f&b manager), Anoop, Avinash, Ismael and obviously many others, unfortunately I don't remember their names. The only problem with this magnificent place is that sooner or later you have to leave and it's not easy at all. Thanks again, you were all wonderful to me, I'll be back for sure.

Quiet oceanfront luxury. Perfect location. Small boutique hotel. Spacious rooms, comfortably furnished, with a wonderful view of the ocean and the beach towards the hotel. Lots of greenery, cleanliness, very good internet. The hotel staff is perfectly selected - very kind, friendly and willing to help you, true professionals. Thank you all! The food in the hotel is unique - very varied and well selected, and the dinners are simply a real pleasure for the senses. Soft relaxing music or gentle jazz caresses the ear while you are in the common areas of the hotel. The massages are very good. Everything in this hotel, down to the smallest detail, is well thought out and made to turn your vacation into real relaxation. I recommend this hotel

Superb hotel on the northern tip of Mauritius, with views of Coin de mire island. We spent 11 nights at this fabulous hotel, which was perfect for our tastes. We value a smaller hotel, with attentive service without being fussy, and good food. Seapoint fits that brief perfectly. After a long flight from the uk, we arrived at about 10am, and met by the hotel manager, Kevin, who took us to the Sea Lounge and introduced some of his team. Fruit juice and a cold towel was provided whilst completing the check in formalities. We were even given a selection of pastries as the breakfast service was just finishing. We were informed that our room was to be upgraded to a suite, which was a lovely gesture that we enjoyed every day of our stay. We also met with Avanash who spoke to us about extra options to the menu to cater for our vegetarian diet. We have experienced this level of personal service before, but at a much higher price point. Put simply, the whole team could not have been more friendly or accommodating during our entire stay and the entire team here is a credit to Seapoint. The culinary highlight for us was a platter of curry’s, produced just for us. Perfection! During our stay we twice utilised the excursions offered with Sam, the hotels own driver, who showed us around both the North and South of the island. Genuinely enthusiastic and informative about his home, we could not have asked for a better guide. I would heartily recommend anyone staying here to utilise Sam and his car for excursions. The room was lovely, perfectly clean and with comfy bed, and the usual amenities you would expect. Even the supplied shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were local and lovely. Kettle and Nespresso machine supplied with 3 pods - bring more from home if you have them. The mini bar fridge also had enough room for supplies from the nearby Momo shop. One bottle of water is supplied in the room per day, and that they are glass was appreciated. Plastic bottled water is much cheaper from the shop down the road, but I’d rather use glass if they were a bit cheaper. Despite other reviews we never found it difficult to get a sun lounger, but we do prefer the ones on the beach which didn’t fill up as quickly as the ones around the pool. We didn’t use the spa, so can’t comment on this, but prices seemed more than reasonable compared to other tropical destinations. Drinks were also reasonable if you are used to uk prices! Local Phoenix beer is 250 rupees, wine is around 400 per glass (the Sauvignon is particularly nice!) and cocktails are around the same. Our transfer back to the airport was at 6pm but we requested a late checkout and despite capacity occupancy we were given the use of a room for the day which was very handy to make the most of our last day. Sadly we had to return home to normal life, but we will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our stay! Even though there was the cyclone, it didn’t bother our stay at all, as it was so comfy at the hotel. Very good food, very quiet (no children), enough sunbeds for everyone, either at the pool or at the beach. Super friendly and helpful staff. We will come back ❤️

We had an enjoyable stay at the hotel. The staff was really nice and helpful - you really felt welcomed. If you wish just to relax by the pool or beach this is the place to stay. The accommodation was really good, the room was clean and cozy. The food was tasty and they clearly put effort into the restaurant. There not too much to see near the hotel so if you want to experience town or night life, best you rent a car. In the beginning of our stay we experienced a cyclon that stormed a few days on the island. The hotel staff kept us well-informed and we felt secured at the hotel despite of the storm outside.

Seapoint is a small hotel in a good location with nice decor and friendly staff. We stayed on a half-board basis and, while the food was OK, it wasn't as good as we were expecting. Unfortunately most dishes were a little bland, lacking the depth of flavours of traditional Mauritian cuisine. We suspect this was because they were toning down on the spices to cater to the tastes of their majority French guests, which is understandable, but making available at least some spicy and flavoursome options would have been appreciated. The beach outside the hotel was small and relatively quiet - especially in comparison to the packed Mon Choisy public beach. Snorkelling equipment is provided but unfortunately there's very little to see as most of the coral is dead. When we asked the staff for advice on the best spots to go snorkelling, we received inaccurate and contradictory information - it would be good if they could be more knowledgeable for advising guests. When we said we wanted a snorkelling trip, they advised we take the three island boat trip from Grand Baie and said all equipment would be provided on the boat. The reality was that the trip was on a jam-packed catamaran with non-stop blaring techno music, no snorkelling equipment, terrible food and only one stop at a crowded beach. Probably one of the worst excursions we've ever been on! We also booked the south island tour with the hotel driver Sam. This was OK and we saw some great sites, but Sam didn't provide any 'guide' information and seemed bored throughout. My advice would be NOT to book any excursions via the hotel and instead make your own arrangements. Also, avoid the half-board and instead go out to local restaurants where you will get a far more authentic Mauritian experience.

Dear Mr/s Vee L, First of all, thank you for taking the time to share your experience following your stay at our hotel. We are happy to know that you loved the décor and the cleanliness of our hotel as well as the welcoming touch of our staff. Your feedback is important to us and we are sorry that you leave with mixed feelings. We apologize that some of our prestation were not up to your expectations, but we would have appreciated being able to discuss these issues during your stay itself. Our team and management staff would have gone out of their way to ensure your satisfaction. Coming to the food, unfortunately, you are among the very few who did not appreciate the dishes at Seapoint. We use high-quality gastronomy products and we have experienced chefs and heads of departments overlooking the F&B, alongside a very great team. During any service, we have HoDs who are present and supervise the operations to ensure that everything goes smoothly. Other than the hotel manager, our HODs also meet the guest and get their feedback after dinner. We have liaised with the hotel's team (more specifically the F&B team) and we have no records of any complaints from your side. We strive to provide the best service possible to all our guests and we would be more happy to make you meet with our Chef, who would be proposing you other choices. Regarding our beach, it is indeed small but quiet as you highlighted. Within a few minutes walk, you can find some better beaches, but of course more crowded, if not over-crowded. We do provide snorkelling equipment and we have had guests who claimed that it was a nice spot to snorkel. Regarding our staff, please note that they will always try to help the guests. We are an intermediary between our guests and service providers (excursions and tours). We provide our guests with the information passed to us and we can only facilitate the booking process. This being said, we ensure to work with highly recommended and official partners. We are very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the catamaran trip. However, we did inform you at the time of booking, that this is not a private tour and the catamaran is shared. On another note, we thank you for highlighting your experience, which we will escalate to the partner. As for our driver Sam, we are again quite surprised with this feedback because we are so used to having very good feedback from guests after a day out. We make it a must to personally meet all our guests. Our hotel manager, as well as other heads of departments like the F&B manager, and the front office manager, have all personally met you during your stay and you did not mention any issues. You informed our team that everything was just perfect and even responded to our guest satisfaction survey very positively. We are honestly very surprised to read this review. We would have taken the necessary remedial actions should we have been made aware of these issues during your stay. We thank you again for your review and we hope to have another opportunity to welcome and serve you, and regain your confidence and trust. Thank you and best regards, The Management

A Boutique Paradise This is how I would describe Seapoint Hotel, Mauritius . It’s rightly said that happiness comes in small packages. This is one of those times where you don’t regret your choices. I had planned a family vacation to Mauritius for relaxation and to spend some time of togetherness and we found both at Seapoint. The hotel is small with 24 rooms but it’s beautifully designed and the location is breathtaking. But the cherry on the cake is their staff spearheaded by Mr. Kevin, they made our stay memorable. I would personally like to thank Shravan, Ishika, Ismail, Krishna and Avinash for their impeccable service. The hotel had organised dinners for Christmas and New Year celebrations which were really enjoyable as were the fireworks on new year. The efforts put in by the entire team of Seapoint were commendable and much appreciated. I would definitely recommend all of my friends and family to stay at this incredible resort. The Spa experience was amazing too😊 Thank you once again to the entire staff for the hospitality that they provided us during our visit. Hope to see you all again whenever I visit Mauritius.

Everything was as I had hoped - quiet; short walk from my room to the beach; infinity pool; service that was always ready for anything you needed; my room - a deluxe beachfront room was perfect - and serviced daily...it was wonderful. The staff were fantastic! The meals were delicious and beautifully presented. From my welcome on my arrival to my last night and early morning departure when Sam took me to the airport, it was a wonderful holiday - just what I needed.

The biggest plus of this hotel is the food - the rooms were also beautifully furnished with a big and exceptionally comfortable bed. However - the main reason for traveling 12 hours to Mauritius is to laze by the pool or the beach. The pool is lovely but it has 4 pairs of sunbeds for 22 rooms. By 8.30 or earlier all beds were reserved. On the one day (out of 6) that we got sunbeds the couple next to us left theirs unattended for 5 hours! The management do nothing about this and you are even told on your introductory tour that the sunbeds are first come first served! This wouldn't be too much of a problem if the beach was nice, but it isn't, especially by Mauritian standards. The beach is tiny, and the sea is not good for swimming - lots of weed and broken coral with poor visibility. It is also in the shade of large trees from Midday onwards. The view of the Northern islands from both the beach and the pool is a positive. The lovely public beach at Mont Choisy at a 15 minute walk is an alternative. Such a shame that the pool situation lets the hotel down. Thankfully we moved on to another hotel, which clearly states after 45 minutes towels may be removed - although it had way more sunbeds per guest and was never an issue anyhow.

Dear Mr/s Vinolovers, Thank you for your review. We are happy to know that you loved the décor and the cleanliness of our hotel as well as our fine dining restaurant gastronomic food. Kindly note that even when the hotel is full, our guests are very happy and there is enough space for everyone not only by the pool but on the beach side also. We have taken good note of your remarks regarding the loungers at the pool which are not under reservation and guests have also been informed about the procedure after one hour of unattended sunbeds, towels will be removed automatically and rest assured that we have taken note and concerning the beach is cleaned all day by our team. Even though your only concern was the pool sunbed, you enjoyed all other services provided within the hotel premises during the stay by our team. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you for another nice experience at Seapoint Boutique Hotel. Kind regards The Management
