It had been a while since I last stayed at Paraa Safari Lodge but the return was worth it. Renovations and a major facelift are in progress right now but do not impact in any way on the guests stay experience. Since my last stay a little Spa opened but my programme was too tight to make use of it...

Lovely accom in the heart of Murchison National Park. Felt very safe, even with warthogs roaming around! The food was excellent - buffet breakfast, lunch & dinner. Beautiful pool area, unfortunately it closes at 6. Such a shame as it's still so hot. No aircon, fans are largely effective. Large mosquito nets are very good. Beds are rock hard. Wifi...

This was our 7th year visiting Uganda and we have stayed at Paraa Safari Lodge on numerous occasions. The prices continue to climb, yet the food and comfort of the lodge are declining. The lodge is definitely in a great location, something that keeps them busy with clients. However, we had an awful experience this trip. Between confusion with our...

We have been coming to Paraa lodge after a medical mission trip in the north for many years. We always make arrangements ahead of time. This year they said they did not get the reservations because I did not pay first. I have never sent payment in advance because of concerns with security. However they were very nice and Jennifer...

I wanted to visit Murchison Falls National Park in Uganda for birding and after seeing positive reviews, I ended up staying at the Paraa Safari lodge. I loved it! The rooms were nice and I have a room overlooking the Nile. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on- they should sell those beds to...

Rooms are nice and rsting by the The food is not as good as Chobe despite being same group. We had a nice stay there despite the quite expensive price...

There are really too many good things to say about the Paraa lodge. The food and staff may be the best two things. Both are outstanding! Only reason I didn't rate it higher is the incredibly high price. If you can afford it, it is well worth the stay!

I have been to Paraa twice and love it. The rooms are lovely, the food is great, the River trip is my favorite. Heartily recommend it. We took two game drives with an experienced guide and saw a full array of animals despite the brevity of our stay (two nights). I think that two nights is all you need to...

Location, location, location. This place is one of only two places in the northern part of the park where there are large animals. This means you don't have to cross the river (9 USD each way) to do the rides early in the morning (first crossing is at 6am, last at 7 pm every 2 hours more or less). This...
