I had lunch at the buffet restaurant in the hotel. It was good and had a fair selection of food for the price (I think 45 yuan for lunch). The lobby of the hotel was nice and clean and it seemed like a well run establishment.

This hotel is just 5km from the airport and 2.5km from the railway station. It is very convenient to go to the city center from this hotel. There is a DPRK-run bar where you can see dancers dance drinking beer. There's are restaurants, KTV, and meeting rooms as well.

I have been travelling for few years in China and stay in different “Local Hotels” I rate this below the average. At the Hotel entrance boasting a big 5 star plaque , will be interesting to see who give them this rating ,in my opinion he deserve 2-3 star at max. The rooms are rundown filthy and disgusting ,stain in... More

Although I rate the hotel as an average, I mean this in the context of 3-4 star places. When I stayed over in September 2015, my higher floor room had a great view of the nearby river but, more importantly, was clean and neat. The buffet breakfast choices were mainly Chinese or Korean-Chinese with a few Western options such as... More

In my 22 years of travel in china this hotel had a few firsts for me. This hotel boasts a big 5 star rating plaque in the lobby it should get even one star. The property is rundown filthy grimy and disgusting the only stars you see in this hotel is when your head hits the bed headboard.... The room... More

A cold unwelcoming hotel, unworthy of the word 'international' in its name. Best part of the stay was by several items in the rooms; the instructions for the A/C... and the minibar (haha) price list: it had an item on the list "vibrating condom" (made in China).

We stayed here in May of 2013, and found the hotel what you would expect in a Chinese city of this size. Not the cleanest or most up to date, but the staff worked hard to keep us happy, and there was a street fair/carnival about a block away that had great street food and lots of happy people. We... Make sure to write down the address of the hotel, because the Taxi drivers at the airport, did not even know the word "hotel". When I finally was able to roam and find the address online, I wasn't even sure I was brought to the right place, because there were no signs in English on the building, indicating that this... Other reviews indicate this hotel is overrated at 5 stars. They are correct. I stayed in a superior room which was big, clean and well furnished but it needed of refurbishing. It was tired. So were the hall ways which were inadequately lit. English was a challenge for most of the staff. The breakfast was adequate but didn't offer many... More

Having spent my share in China, I have seen a wide range of accommodations. This hotel is nothing to get excited about but it offered a decent room, comfortable (but firm) bed and a decent shower with good water pressure and hot water. Carpets were stained as was the walls and floor in the bathroom but compared to what you... More
