The location is just perfect, everything is within walking distance. The only problem was that the rooms smelled of mild and it was quire unpleasant. We only stayed for a night but it wasn't the best experience. The rooms otherwise were not too bad.

Just a lovely place. We were staying elsewhere and weren't happy, walked in and saw beautiful and peaceful rooms, at a fair price. Room was very large, cool and nicely decorated (some cool animal prints that we really liked) breakfast was great. Owners were super friendly and helpful. We really liked that they were there if needed, but they are... More

After staying in a dingy guesthouse in Mount Lavinia we were over the moon when we first saw our room at Palitha's. We had air con and a fan for a reasonable price. The bed was huge and comfortable, we had hot water (not that it bothered us either way) and a little patio of our own. We had breakfast... More

We stayed for two nights in one of the second floor rooms and enjoyed breakfast, dinner (we were allowed to watch how it was prepared :)) and the yoga courses that are offered next to the guest rooms. Everything was really good but Palitha (the host) and his wife were so outstandingly friendly and helpful with anything we needed or... More

Super nice room, one of the best we had in Sri Lanka. Nice matrass and every room has their own little outside patio. Clean and just enough space. Owners were super friendly and we could leave our bags in their house after check out. Location is also great, just at the beginning of the Unawatuna tourist street. For us this... More

Great place, clean and good value for money. Currently on a 18 month trip travelling and this is one of the better places we have stayed at. We felt like royalty in our four poster bed! Mr Palithia was a nice guy and apologized for not getting to know us as he was so busy getting some building work done-... More

This little guest house in Unawatuna was perfect for a group of three girls staying in Sri Lanka! It was a quaint little house with r only four guest rooms owned by a lovely family that were very welcoming and would do anything to make you feel at home. The rooms were very clean and spacious and the bathroom was... More

This was one of our favourite places we stayed in Sri Lanka. We walked in off the street and took the room immediately. The room we had was huge, on the ground floor. The bed was comfortable and very clean, it has a full mosquito net in great condition so we could sleep with the windows open. The bathroom was... More

“Only 4 rooms, all four rooms are great. It will be better to book in advance coz it's always full easily, and some guests stay for months so sometimes it's better to check with Palitha in advance.”
