Best place to stay in unawatuna. Really close to the beach and all the restaurants on the way. Stayed in a huge triple room which was lovely with a nice bathroom and hot water. Breakfast was served on your own private balcony which was perfect and it was a great breakfast. Owners were lovely and even let us check out...

The place is located just after the turn off the main road, minus the traffic noise. As it is not very very close to the beach, you avoid the blaring night music too. The couple who run it are very very friendly ( I saw them help a passing couple who had a car accident.. it was like they were...

The best choice while staying in unawatuna. Palithas Guesthouse is close to the beach with wonderful shops on the way, delicious breakfast, lovely garden and the best of all is the family. They are so friendly and always happy to help! We will come back for sure.

The location is just perfect, everything is within walking distance. The only problem was that the rooms smelled of mild and it was quire unpleasant. We only stayed for a night but it wasn't the best experience. The rooms otherwise were not too bad.

Just a lovely place. We were staying elsewhere and weren't happy, walked in and saw beautiful and peaceful rooms, at a fair price. Room was very large, cool and nicely decorated (some cool animal prints that we really liked) breakfast was great. Owners were super friendly and helpful. We really liked that they were there if needed, but they are...

After staying in a dingy guesthouse in Mount Lavinia we were over the moon when we first saw our room at Palitha's. We had air con and a fan for a reasonable price. The bed was huge and comfortable, we had hot water (not that it bothered us either way) and a little patio of our own. We had breakfast...

We stayed for two nights in one of the second floor rooms and enjoyed breakfast, dinner (we were allowed to watch how it was prepared :)) and the yoga courses that are offered next to the guest rooms. Everything was really good but Palitha (the host) and his wife were so outstandingly friendly and helpful with anything we needed or...

Super nice room, one of the best we had in Sri Lanka. Nice matrass and every room has their own little outside patio. Clean and just enough space. Owners were super friendly and we could leave our bags in their house after check out. Location is also great, just at the beginning of the Unawatuna tourist street. For us this...
