We really enjoyed our stay here. Very friendly staff. Staff was very helpful with arranging outings. Hotel is kept clean and breakfast is really good. Location is convenient to shops, restaurants and outdoor attractions. The weather in the area is great too - a bit windy, but not too hot or too cold.

The location is a very short walk from the center of the action. Jose and Andres were welcoming and extremely helpful, and the accommodations were just what we needed for a home base in Monteverde. The common dining room provided plenty of opportunities for conversation with other travelers, and of course, plenty of VH1 Classics. (You'll see.)

The visit was great and easy to book. Our room was clean and cleaned daily. The breakfast each morning was cooked to order (3 choices & the rice/beans/eggs was very good) with fresh coffee. Jose also shared the best tours in the area to check out and helped us book all our local tours, and they picked us up right...

Jose and Andres are brilliant at making a short stay in Monteverde filled to the max! Starting with the most inviting B and B in the area, they do all they can to tailor each guests' visit to meet all personal expectations (and more!) Can't say enough great things about this place-- primarily due to its management that knows how...

We were welcomed by Jose, who made our stay very comfortable. Rooms were simple but clean and there were some nice community spots to sit and enjoy. Jose gave us some very good recommendations for activities in the area (coffee tour and zip line) and arranged transportation. It was great to be able to walk to shops and restaurants in...

“If you can afford it, go for the main floor rooms, or basement rooms that are under the main building.”

“Our room: private bathroom (some have shared); quiet hallway; no AC (the fan is sufficient). There is street noise, but we slept well.”
  • Large armoire is useful. Mirror near electrical outlets would be good (no bathroom outlet)
  • the hallway to some of the rooms (ours was just past these chairs on the left)
