We spent 4 nights at Cabinas Capulin and loved staying there. The view was terrific and we had beautiful rainbows several mornings. The kitchen was perfect for our needs and it is really easy to find groceries in town. We enjoyed eating outside on the sunny terrace at breakfast and lunch, and inside the kitchen for dinner. This was perfect...

For our family of six, we were absolutely, undeniably in love with our entire stay at Cabinas Capulin. Run by five siblings and their families, we could not have been more pleased with our choice of accommodation. We grabbed eggs, fruit & bread from the supermarket in Sta. Elena, and used the lovely well-equipped kitchen for our breakfasts. Both mornings...

My wife, our 1 year old daughter, and I stayed in cabin #4 for 5 nights. We were greeted with rainbows and an excellent view of the Gulfo de Nicoya. Anibal and his family were very welcoming, full of good information about where to hike, see birds, eat in town, and other options. His family has been on the farm...

Stayed here for two nights. The cabin (nr7) was really nice, with a very good shower and a great balcony with a view. Owners really nice and helpful. With a car you're within a few minutes everywhere you wanna be ( nighthwalk, Santa Elena, all the parcs).

Cabinas Capulin are a wonderfully luxurious yet simple experience. Don't expect a TV in your room but look out the window and listen to all the wildlife around you, and you'll be entertained like you've never before. The couple who runs the cabinas are super charming and engaged. They speak excellent English (and, of course, Spanish!). The cabinas have been...

We just returned from Costa Rica. We stayed at Cabinas Capulin for two nights. What a beautiful place! We are a family of 6, and it was enough room for us. The cottage is very spacious, clean, and everything inside it made of wood with a lot of taste. The views are spectacular (our cottage is on the top of...

My husband and I stayed here for one night making our way back to San Jose. Cabinas Capulin was wonderful and welcoming after driving on a long and bumpy road from Las Juntas. The cabin we stayed in was beautiful with an amazing view and had wine glasses (red and white) ready to be used in the room. There was...

This is a beautiful property. The cabins are cozy and comfortable, with really pretty woodwork in the cabins and in the reception area. When we first arrived, I was a little nervous because it seemed like we were kind of far from everything. There were several others in our shuttle to Monteverde, and they all got dropped off more in...
