We stayed for two nights in order to visit Monteverde cloud forest and stayed in a private room. The room was okay, however it got extremely cold at night. We slept with two blankets and all our clothes on and were still very cold. The included breakfast at taco taco was mediocre. One problem is that it opens at 7... More

We stayed here in November and can't fault the place at all. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. They advised us on all of our tours and booked them straight away. Breakfast and dinner from the taco place next door was delicious. Our room was big, clean, and spacious and the shower has hot water- the first of our... More

Stayed here in for 3 nights in November 2016. It rained non stop, but this place was awesome. Rooms were adequate and well worth the price. Showers had very hot water. Everyone was extremely helpful. Loved the coffee and breakfast next door. My daughter loved the place and wants to come back. Thanks to the staff for making my first... More

I don't normally leave reviews but I just wanted to leave a note to say these were the best hostel staff we've had in 2 months of Central America! Nothing was an issue and so much knowledge on Costa Rica. Room great too! Very clean and quiet and the comfiest and cosiest bed in soooo long!

My own experience here was not exactly excellent-- imagine cramming six adult family members traveling together in a broom closet with a leaky bathroom, no fan, holes in the windows, noise outside-- but it's worth noting that if you're budget-minded in Santa Elena and Monteverde, this is where you'll be happiest to end up. If our room was shared with,... More

Great hostel, very good location, clean room, great restaurant, good wifi, nice people, I would recommend that hostel if you have to go to Monteverde. You just have to be careful because our neighbours got stolen by a stranger hanging out in the hostel

This hostel has a nice central location and appears to be the center of the action in Monteverde / Santa Elena. You can easily walk to the Mega Super and other stores and restaurants. Parking could be a serious issue here if you are driving a rental, their parking lot is very small and can fill up fast. There is... More

I recommended 100% their private rooms. They are so cheap and offer all you need. Clean and spacious rooms. Location is great. The friendly staff will help you out in everything you need. Security is great and accept credit card.

The staff is great and the rooms clean and pretty. There's a fully equipped kitchen you can use to cook! A very good option for a quick or inexpensive trip to Monteverde, they'll even book your tours and people staying is always friendly so feel free to talk to other people and even share a meal or your with them...
