This was my second stay at Hotel Mardaga and it keeps getting better. Peaceful spot in the woods, amazing dinning and full of trails and bike lanes. Service from the entire staff is stellar and rooms are lovely. Thank you all for being so friendly and helpful.

On a very early arrival they immediately arranged a room for us to use and even upgraded us to a suite to be able to give a room. Almost all staff immediately knew who we were and we could move through the hotel, bar, restaurant without signing intermediate bills. The staff was very kind and helpful.

The hotel is striking. The building is anthracite coloured and after entering the theme of the reception is black. This might sound less then nice but it is done in such a way that it is striking and pleasant to enter. The room is big and the bed is good. The showerroom is also big and well designed. Still, there...

This hotel is great if you need that little piece of quietness and enjoy a gastronomic delight. I stay here on business sometimes when in the area and needing to entertain customers as the food is to die for. Rooms are very comfortable, surroundings are beautiful, but most of all the evening dinner is out of this world. The Steak...

The hotel is fine, rooms are nice and people are friendly but very "commercially" oriented. You have the feeling they want all of the money in your pocket. For example for the breakfast, you pay 29 EUR which is overpriced for what you get. You want to rent bikes, no problem 17.5 EUR per day, even if you only want...

Stayed at this hotel on business for 4 days. Staff are very friendly and so helpful. The room was cleaned everyday and the hotel was immaculately presented on the inside. don't be fooled by the outside it really isn't a good advertisement. The breakfast was incredible and caters for all tastes.

I chose this hotel solely on its convenient location for my work. However, I was pleased to find a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Mardaga has a sort of rustic feel to it. If I'd had more time I would have taken a walk in the beautiful surrounding countryside. The restaurant it's definitely worth eating at. Although it's not the cheapest,...

we booked the gastronomic stay through vlaanderenvakantieland.be at 125 eur pp per night (incl diner and breakfast) and found this very good value. Hospitality in this hotel is exceptional: all members of the staff are friendly and ready to help at any time. The cuisine is very good and the young female chef took the time to meet her customers...

We stayed for a week in this hotel and started from here different walks in the National nature park "Hoge Kempen", which was really a treasure we discovered in Belgium, Flanders. With good footpath indications and wonderful nature ! Also good base to visit the cities of Hasselt, Aachen, Sittard, Maaseik and of course the wonderful open air museum of...

First let me say the staff were helpful and polite. The room(4) was a good size and very clean but the bathroom was bigger, never had such a large bathroom. This room over looks the road and can be noisy. There were no tea and coffee facilities in my room and Breakfast cost an additional 19 euro's P.P(no wonder they call...
