Beautifully situated in the banks of the river Seine and convenient for visiting Monet's garden dinner in the restaurant was very good indeed. The food was well presented and delicious, though portions are huge so beware. However, the rooms are small and very shabby and while the beds are comfortable the rooms are badly organised with little wardrobe space and... More

We were visiting the chateau and needed a place for lunch. Having parked opposite, and as the place was busy, we thought "they cant all be wrong". In we went and took a table outside, okay by the car park, but one could see the Seine and it was a lovely day. The day was very sunny and warm, but... More

This is a Hotel and Restaurant in a nice setting close to the Seine. We went for the 3 course evening menu 24.5 Euro, with house wine around 4 Euro per glass. The duck breast was very good. Generally all portions were large, nice decor, pleasant service, would recommend

This hidden gem of a hotel and restaurant is on the banks of a beautiful part of the Seine, on the side of an Allo Allo type village which used to be Rommel's headquarters during WW2. Staff here are friendly and accommodating, and the food in the restaurant ranges from good (sometimes with a few shortcomings like over-salted cod or... More

We found this hotel online before our first trip to France in 2004. We stayed then and we stayed on our second trip more recently. It's location is perfect. We visit this area to see Monet's Garden and it's only about 6 easy kilometres from Giverny. Online it said La Roche Guyon was one of the prettiest villages in France.... More

We came here for a relaxing weekend away from Paris and stayed in one of the bigger rooms overlooking the Seine. The bed was comfortable and had crisp, clean linen and the bathroom was basic but spacious. It was exactly what we wanted. We especially loved the restaurant downstairs - we went there on our first night because it was... More

We (wife and I) had lunch in the spacious and bright diningroom. Did not stay in the hotel. We opted for the "formule" priced at €16.50 which we thought was good value for a starter and main course, each priced at around €12.00 a la carte. Had the mussels as starters and they arrived in large pots. Very good, but... More

In this picturesque village where the Seine cuts a wide swath, you can't go wrong eating at Les Bords de Seine. The wildly creative salad, elegant crisp baby potatoes, and tangy pepper sauce with steak demonstrated the chef's deft hand. Service was excellent and the noise level was modest despite the full room. We did not stay at the hotel... More

Last year, while visiting the chateau at Roche guy on, we had a fantastic little lunch here. Vowed to come back for dinner and stay overnight. Just did and again, it exceeded our expectations. The hotel is small but very nicely appointed. Again, dinner was great. I had the raie with sweet potatoes and my husband had the mussels. Very... More
