Just ok for a one night stay. Small room and cramped bathroom. The hotel is tired without any ambience at all. The staff are friendly enough and it is so close to the ferry you could walk it in five minutes. The food was excellent we only had dinner as left early. The set menu was very good value though...

(NB this is only a review of the restaurant - not the hotel) Being well aware of the potential delays in getting to the ferry on time (petrol strikes, farmers' go-slow, traffic volume...) I generally overkill and arrive a couple of hours early. The Normandie is a good place to take a leisurely lunch in this case. Choice of several...

This hotel is very basic indeed. The reception area and restaurant are nice enough but the rooms do not warrant the £60 per night at all. The rooms are tiny and even though the hotel contacted us prior to our stay to inform us of this we did not expect them to be so small. There are no tea/coffee making...

Room small with just net curtains , used a blanket to put over window to block out light. Had en suite but very small shower when shower door shut hard to move around. Walls very thin can here next room talking. Breakfast was ok but pay extra for. Went to sit for evening meal but only two choices for children...

Stayed here for a night after driving off the ferry at 9:30pm. Of note, it currently takes about an hour to get through passport control at the ferry terminal. Staff are friendly and helpful ... don't expect English speakers .... you're in France! Family room across the road from the main hotel was good but felt old fashioned. Kids loved...

Although the staff are very helpful and good humoured and the food in the restaurant is decent we found our bedroom and en-suite far too cramped. There was a extractor stack for the kitchen just outside one of the windows and the other widow looked out over the restaurant and the road. The only way to ensure peace and quiet...

First off, let's talk about the positives. It's a great location, very near to the ferry terminal and easy access. It's quiet, sufficiently down a side road so as not to be disturbed by the road noise. The room I had was in an annexe across the road from the main building. The bed was comfortable and the shower hot-...

A warm welcome from very helpful staff. The rooms are a bit dated and need to be refurbished, but the food makes up for and problems with this quiet hotel. The hotel is just 800 meters from the ferry terminal and with off street Parking it is a must for people wishing to finish there French stay before traveling home

This hotel is convenient for the ferry, being 500 metres away, and has a good car park but that's about it. The rooms are OK with twin beds, TV, and an adequate, but not brilliant shower. The wifi was flaky. The staff member I met was pleasant enough.

This is one of many small hotels, situated around the main parking square in Ouistreham. The receptionist did not seem to be that pleased to see us and very "matter of factly" booked us in, not very welcoming at all, even less communicative when we left. The twin room was adequate, the beds quite comfortable, and it was quiet at...
