Good location, easy to find, nearby parking and welcoming staff. I'm not at all fussy about bedrooms after all they're somewhere to sleep rather than to live in. However don't expect anything grand here. The room we had was on the small side and cramped; it struck me as something you would have found in a small French hotel forty...

We stayed at Le Cheval at the beginning of December for 4 nights. When we booked direct we informed the hotel we would like to have dinner there every night. We had a e-mail back to say that the restaurant was closed on a Friday which was fine as there were other restaurants in the town. The room was adequate,...

Room dated and very small. Off-season so maybe we got that one; late and for 1 night so accepted. Meal ok, 2 other singles in the dining room so deadly quiet. Staff pleasant but reserved. Expensive for what we had

Yes, the rooms are a little dated, but they are spotlessly clean and the food makes the stopover well worth it. Ideally located on route to Calais/le Harvey from the vendee or dordogne. I can see that other reviewers have been less enthusiastic and I just wonder why, if they expect five star standards, they pay 2 star prices. Our...

We had booked to stay at Le Normandie, another hotel in the town, however we weren't impressed with their restaurant, so when we noticed that this Logis hotel was around the corner we decided to eat there. We had a lovely 3 course meal with good quantities and it was extremely reasonably priced. If we return to Caudebec-en-Caux we will...

We stayed here once before but arrived on a Sunday when the restaurant was closed. The rooms are clean but need an upgrade in beds and furniture but ok for just an overnight stay. Both times our room has been overlooking the main road which can get some traffic noise and if its a warm night they could do with a...

I was part of a cycling group staying at the hotel for one night. The bicycles were stored in a locked entrance area, out of sight of the road. The bedroom was OK and we slept well, but it was in need of modernising and so was the ensuite bathroom which was dark and whose shower allowed water to escape...

I visited this hotel as one of a 14 person cycling group. The rooms at the hotel are pretty drab and the bathrooms are in need of an update but the big surprise for us was the restaurant - the food was really good, everyone was happy with their 3 courses (for 18 Euros) and the starters and burgers were...
