Aris hotel is the impressive art hotel of Paleochora, Crete. It is open all year round to offer you the chance to experience Crete every season of the year.Aris hotel is a family business. It is run since 1988 by the Liatakis family – now in its second generation. The latest renovation of the art hotel took place in the winter of 2015. Aris, unlike other hotels, is called an “art hotel” for good reason. In the outside and inside spaces of the hotel, there is an open gallery of excellent handmade art items, made by the artists of the family. This open gallery is constantly changing, as the older items are sold and newer items are created. During the 2015 renovation, the hotel and room interiors were carefully designed and decorated with excellent art items made by our family’s artists. Apart from the art items, the architecture of the hotel – for both the building and the lush gardens – compliments the art profile of aris hotel.

Very Nice , medium size Hotel , with nice Staff People ! Nice Rooms , with Very comfortable Beds ! The Cleaning was perfect. The rooms was noise-protected. The Breakfast was very good ! The Manager Mr Aris , is very helpful and kind. The Hotel is surrounded by trees and plants of all kinds in a well kept garden. Make the experience feel like living in the Paradis. There is many sculptures that is really extraordinary. Very Beautiful. The Hotel is located in the south end of Paleochora, that is very quiet and relaxing. Short bicycle ride to the Restaurants. Highly recommended !

My sister and I enjoyed our stay here so much! The staff is the nicest and you instantly feel welcomed and at home. Not only that the rooms are very clean and compfortable, but we also loved all the details! The whole hotel has so many little and beautiful details. The breakfast is very delicious and everyday there is something new and homecooked on the buffet. A view really nice beaches are very close and can easily reached by foot. All in all we had an amazing time here, will definately miss it and will come back for sure! :)

We was warmly welcomed to this family hotel which has been newly renovated winter 2020. Good info and comfy rooms, and very good breakfast. Nice and kind staff. Loved the artistic decorations all over the place, and the furniture especially in the reception/dining area. Would really like to come back!

+: good atmosphere, quiet, close to beaches, very frienly people, fine breakfast, very clean rooms, fast and stable WIFI, free parking very close by, free bicycles, seaview, air conditioning -: a nearby ruin doesn't look so nice, some of the (free) bikes are half broken
