Just back from a weeks holiday staying at the San Lorenzo Village, first time staying here but 10th time in Lassi. This complex is fab, it’s clean, great position, glorious views and supper staff. I can’t fault the friendliness of all working at the village from the groundskeeper to the bar staff, reception and the waiting staff always a cheery hello or wave, nothing too much trouble a credit to their employers.
We stayed in one of the new superior double rooms, which are located under the sun terrace looking out towards the sea, beautifully decorated, modern with a great shower we could not have been happier with our choice.
Our stay included breakfast which was plentiful with a good selection of different choices on the menu, very nice and a good start to the day.
The pool is very good, large with plenty of room for swimming, the water temperature was good, not freezing, and nice to cool off in. Plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas around the pool area and drinks are available at the bar with a lunch menu available until 4pm
We love Lassi, the beach and restaurants on the ‘strip’ people are very friendly in this town, it’s getting more busy as the secret of how lovely Kefalonia is has now got out, we will be back as usual next year and will look forward to see all your smiling faces again, Thank You Linda & Mike Osborn

Just back from a nine day holiday at San Lorenzo Village were we had a fabulous time in this beautiful village, which is perfectly located in Lassi.
The apartments are painted all different pastel colours and are set in nice grounds around a lovely big pool.
The rooms were immaculate and cleaned every day.
All the staff were excellent, from the receptionist, the cleaning staff, the catering & bar staff and everyone was so friendly and nothing too much trouble.
There are a few well stocked supermarkets nearby (less than 5 minutes walk) and there are so many nice restaurants and bars within easy walking distance as well.
There is a bus stop nearby and just €2 to the capital Argostoli which I would definitely recommend a visit to, plus there are plenty of taxis as well.
There is a bit of a hill up to the complex from the road, but it’s nothing to worry about and we managed ok.
It’s ideally situated to a nice beach and there are others within walking distance and if you are feeling energetic there is a walking route from Lassi to Argostoli taking in some amazing scenery.
The San Lorenzo Village is only about 10 mins (by car) from the airport as well making it a great location.
We could of stayed longer than the 9 days for sure, and would we go back? - Definitely YES 👍

Where to start, this was our second time to san lorenzo village, it has changed and for us not a good change
But first the positives
We had a 1 bedroom apartment, lovely and spacious. Very large comfortable bed, kitchen had everything you needed, you pay €1 per hour for the air on so 2 weeks cost €92 which is cheaper than other places I’ve been, safe is free, There was no noise from the neighbour, but they where joined to our kitchen, we where on an end and upstairs with a large balcony. We where situated opposite the bar reception,
The grounds and pool are well maintained. Cleaners work really hard and long hours the room was cleaned every day and we seemed to get fresh linen and towels every day as well.
Now to the cons
Lassi is becoming the Benidorm of Kefalonia. During our 2 weeks we had a group of people who shouted swore drank till they dropped, the noise was awful, the language was awful, the bar person was happy to keep suppling drinks after time was called, I felt as if I’d landed in the middle of Benidorm.
It really affected our stay there, to the point we’ve said we will not return. On our final day we spoke to another couple who felt the same way, and some of the older couples where also feeling the same.
Such a shame as it was always a nice quiet hotel that catered for couples and family’s .

Not stayed in this place before but was recommended to me some years ago. Absolutely beautiful place with great views. The garden area in which this place is situated is kept spotless to a very high standard. Accommodation was spotless and cleaned daily to a very high standard. Beds were very comfortable along with A/C which you had to pay for separately but was worth it and quite reasonable charge. We had a family accommodation with 2 bathrooms,2 bedrooms along with a kitchenette, microwave etc etc. Swimming pool and bar area were very nice and chilled and nothing was too much trouble for these people and made you feel very welcome every time we visited this area. The local shops and restaurants only a short walk away as was the beach. Would definitely stay here again plus the airport is only a 15 minute cab ride away.

Our second stay at this lovely hotel and for the main part it didn't disappoint. We were staying again in one of the really well appointed sea view bedrooms which are absolutely lovely with a large patio and wonderful views over to Lixouri. Equipped with large screen TV, kettle, coffee pod machine, fridge and a safe there really is little else one could ask for, and the room feels well above the official 3 star rating. As last year the bedroom was kept spotlessly clean. Similarly the grounds and pool area are kept immaculate. All staff are very sociable, helpful and efficient and nothing is too much trouble. Special mention to Chris and Anastasia, although everyone was fabulous. When we were at the hotel last year a big selling point for us, and one of the reasons for our return, was the choice of breakfast from a menu that was freshly cooked to order. Unfortunately, this year this was no longer available and instead a buffet arrangement is in place. The choice of breakfast items was good, but even when we went for breakfast as it opened at 8.30 am, the 'hot' items were cold. We were not the only guests to comment on this. This was disappointing given how good breakfast had been at our last visit. Also, the earliest one could have breakfast was 8.30 am. This was too late if one was due to go on a trip, particularly if one had to join the trip at Argostoli. The disappointing breakfast is the reason for me giving only 4 out of 5 this time. On a final note, we did not experience any noisy behaviour by guests at our stay as others have said and Lassi is certainly nothing like Benidorm.

San Lorenzo Village is at the top of a steep hill just off the main road through Lassi.
Don’t let that put you off unless you have mobility problems … it has a very welcome breeze and the sunsets are incredible.
Check in with Kate was straightforward.
€150 for 2 weeks air con payable on check in . We were given a reading then took a photo of the meter on check out so we were charged €94 . We had AC on all night and for an hour while getting ready.
Tourist tax payable on arrival … 50c per room per night , so €7 for the 2 weeks.
The safe is free , opened by a key .
Breakfast was served by Chris and Olga every morning… a real credit to the hotel. Helpful, cheerful and so hardworking, always with a smile. Olga’s greeting ‘Kalimera’ made my day every morning .
The pool area was spotless, pool cleaned every day and views to die for from your sunbed. The pool bar had a lunchtime menu and Anastasia was a brilliant bartender who kept everyone entertained with her banter .
The gardens are beautiful and well maintained, with seating areas dotted around the grounds.
Our studio was spotless, cleaned every day to a high standard and clean towels every day. Bed was so comfortable and bedding changed every few days.
Fridge, 2 ring hob and plenty of crockery and utensils in the kitchen.
Bathroom was a good size, double shower was excellent .
We had a lovely balcony with table and 2 chairs and once again , beautiful views.
Lassi is wonderful … so many great places to eat… food delicious everywhere.
Go to Trentis for cocktails
Makris Gialos beach ( didn’t like Costa Costa )
Visit to Argostoli a must but check when cruise ships are in as it gets v busy. We got the bus from bottom of the hill for €2 each. Taxi is €9.
We booked a boat trip with Queen Bee in Argostoli- fabulous day out for €55 each
Fiskardo Tour with KCG tours booked on Main Street in Lassi - another wonderful day €35 each .
Best holiday we’ve had for a long time .
San Lorenzo Village is perfect in every way - well better than 3 star in our opinion . Loved every minute!

Given the price paid this far surpassed our expectations.

Let me first of all say that the pictures online don’t do it justice at all. It is a beautiful complex with a gorgeous pool and stunning panoramic views of the sea.

The accommodation was cute and had all you need for a comfortable stay (fridge, large bed and huge balcony area).

The air con works out at about €1 an hour - it’s good quality so we were only €28 for the week. It’s fair they charge this as some people just leave it on all week.

Location is great - 1 min walk to supermarkets, shops and local restaurants and €8 in a taxi
to the centre and capital Argostoli which we done a few times (gorgeous place).

The beach is 2/3 mins walk and is one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve visited. Makris Gialos.

Note there is a very small but quite steep hill to the apartments from the road.

So why not a 5? It may seem picky but the pool bar was really quite pricey. €4+ for a beer which is smaller than a pint and baguettes : small snacks well over the odds. Not a big deal but 5/5 is a perfect review so it’s a strong 4.

This hotel seriously punches well above its 3 star rating. The room we had would not have been out of place in a 5 star establishment. Besides having a wonderful sea view from its extensive patio, it was bright, modern, well furnished with quality furnishings, a king-size bed and large smart TV on the wall. A fridge, kettle and Nespresso machine are provided. I believe some other rooms have a kitchenette. The grounds of the hotel were immaculate and the pool area was large with more than enough sun beds, umbrellas and other seating. The pool itself was large enough for a decent swim, and there was a separate splash pool for the kids. The bar and lounge area is open plan and open to the elements but can be closed off via glass curtains should the weather turn. We were on bed and breakfast and I have to say the choice and quality was superb. Breakfast was made and served fresh to order and was plentiful. What really made this holiday was the staff, from greeting on arrival and throughout all staff were cheerful, friendly and efficient. I'm hopeless with remembering names and so it would be wrong for me to single out those I can remember as everyone was fantastic. I have one small gripe. I am used to being charged for air conditioning in Greece, but at €1 per hour, when the temperature was even in the high 20s in the middle of the night, the final cost was excessive. I hope the owners rethink their pricing. Having stayed at other 3 star hotels in Kefalonia, I can honestly say that this beats them, hands down. A fabulous hotel.

We stayed here at the early part of May on a spur of the moment 3 night break with Jet2, and could not fault our experience. From the immaculately kept grounds, to the spotlessly clean accommodation, excellent and friendly staff, Katie, Olga and Anastasia we enjoyed so much we are returning in May next year for a week this time to explore more of this beautiful island. As others have mentioned there is a small hill to climb from the main strip back to the village, but this in no way spoilt our experience. We had breakfast one morning of our stay and this was excellent value for money. Lastly if you are looking to venture further afield we can recommend Pefanis, who are located just at the bottom of the hill a hundred yards or so into Lassi, all inclusive insurance and very reasonably priced, plus you can drop off at the airport and they then drop you right at the terminal.

Complex very clean and tidy with lovely views. Breakfast staff very polite and friendly however my son was told off for jumping in the pool by the evening staff.. there are pool rules stating you are not allowed to jump or dive into the pool which for a young child on holiday was pretty boring. Probably not good if you have young children and want to have fun. Other people jumped into the pool without being questioned and this made my son not want to go in as much as he felt singled out. Air con is 1 euro per hour which isn’t exactly something you can go without in June! Other complex’s and villas include this as standard in their prices. Overall a nice week away but not amazing and I wouldn’t return with a child
