The A/c wasn't working and they did not offer a solution on a night with 33 degrees Celsius. They were very rude. I've stayed in a lot of hotels and this was not a 4 star hotel. During breakfast cats were ON the tables eating the food and no one of the staff seam to care. Definitely do not stay... More

The lobby is lovely, the room was a comfortable size, the staff on the front desk are friendly... everything else is very poor indeed. Contrary to the website and listing, there is no restaurant, let alone a 'piano restaurant', the WiFi is extremely slow and weak, only available in close proximity, if you're lucky, to the reception desk. The bar... More

I loved the lobby with the Chesterfield sofas . You can sit there and relax , but , also the room ,which was renovated ( because the hotel is old , but has been refurbished a couple of years , ago ) was a total delight . Peaceful and quiet with a view towards the Aegean . By the hotel... More

The hotel is well located and staff friendly. There is parking place few meters from the hotel. The lobby and restaurant are nice but the corridor was dirty with spots on the wall and carpet. The corridor and the room including bathroom have poor finishes, carpets and walls dirty as well. Bedsheets were dirty with hair and spots, same with... More

Let's start with the positive points because it will be very short: the view and location is good (view on the sea from some parts of the hotel) and the personnel at the reception is very welcoming and does his very best to cover the mess. Let's continue with the reality now: - the hotel has been renovated in the... More

I loved my stay there. It was a relaxing follow up after a hectic week in athens. You definitely need a car both to get to the hotel (about 11/2hours from Volos)...and to experience many of its beatiful nearby beaches. The staff, including the manager Mr Gaitanos are very accomodating and nice. The rooms do need a little updating, and... More

As I drove from Volos up Pelion mountain, leaving beaches of Volos in my rear view mirror I began to wonder if I had made the right choice. As I started to get close to Tsgarada, and the view of this side of mountain beaches appeared I relaxed a bit. The hotel is off the winding road, not hard to... More

San Stefano is cosy and pleasant hotel. Personnel is very friendly and well-wishing. Location is great: in the centre of Tsagarada village, but not on the road. Sea view is from all rooms. The wood mountains are towering all around. The hotel lobby is decorated like a cozy reading room where you feel at home near the fireplace. There's an excellent... More
