We feel privileged to have the opportunity to shear the experience we had during our stay at Maistra for four nights on October 2021.

That super amazing spot on earth accompanied with unforgettable service and accommodation are somethings to be remembered for life time.
The place is located on a mountain facing the Aegean Sea and the sights are just beautiful from sunrise to sunset. Like a light touch of heaven when you are still alive.

The relaxed atmosphere, the beautifully manicured garden on all sides, the beautiful and super clean big rooms which are well equipped, huge double bed with super comfort mattress, fireplace, including a small kitchenette and its various generous accessories including a Nespresso machine and everything needed, allowing even long stays and special comfort.

The special attention of the owner Nikos, who built the place from its base over the last 14 years. to the smallest details is noticeable in every corner both in the rooms and in the public areas of the place. Now words can describe that… .

The homemade breakfast, made by Nikos, which is beautifully served and changed every day, is worthy of appreciation and is very tasty, when the smell of baking accompanies the dishes served with real generosity and aesthetics.

The green all around, the quiet, the views, the calm villages located in the area gives to the place a very unique atmosphere.

Nikos with his big heart and generosity, assisted us with everything he could, and did his very best to help in whatever we asked for and established a homely atmosphere throughout our stay at the place. As a guest you can feel that he does everything from the bottom of his heart.

The charming beaches are within a few minutes drive and are surrounded by great restaurants where you can have lunch or dinner. There are some very good restaurants near the Maistra and Nikos was more than happy to help us with this issue as well and his recommendations were just great.

We wholeheartedly recommend the place and are already planning our next and long vacation in Maistra.

Thank you Nikos from the bottom of our hearts for such an endearing vacation, warm and unforgettable hospitality that left a taste of more of it. Looking forward to see you and enjoy of all the Maistra has to offer, hopefully as soon as possible.

Warm Regards,

From all of us :)

If there were seven stars, this is what I would give to this boutique hotel. We read a lot of positive reviews before reserving, but when we arrived we understood that this was a special place. We stayed for three nights (not long enough). Upon arrival, we were greeted by Nicola, the owner of the hotel. He walked us through the suite, explaining how everything works. Two huge rooms, one a living room (suitable for two to sleep) and the other a beautiful bedroom. Both rooms opened up to the balcony which has a spectacular view of the bay (oh Greece!). Both rooms are air conditioned and the kitchenette has everything you need. The bathroom was lovely, fully equipped (even with a scale) and included a very modern shower/bathtub set up. Every day breakfast was a surprise. Nicola freshly prepares this delicious meal that is served on the breezy terrace where you can enjoy the view. Did I say perfect? Wonderful? The area itself is beautiful, driving along the mountain roads covered in rain forest, beautiful beaches, quaint villages. Such a pleasure. Stay as long as you can, you won’t be disappointed.

We spent 5 amaing romanti days in hotel maistra in the end of July and I feel honored and blessed to share our experience.

Nikos is an outstanding, warm haearted, welcoming, perfectionist host who built this corner of paradise in the most beautiful location.
Our suite had amaing view, a perfect blend between preserving nature with maximum comfort and style . everything you might need is there.

Maistra is is located on a mountain facing the Aegean Sea and the sights are just beautiful from the moment the sun rises in beautiful colors to the romantic view in the garden in the evening .

The atmosphere is very relaxed , our suite was very clean and well equipped. Linen and towels always very soft with great smell
The garden is like a gem in paradise with beautiful places , beutiful flowersm herbs , fruit trees , the best sot to sit and have breakfast or a drink infornt of the view.

Our hugh gratitude to the owner Nikos, who made us feel at home away from home with attention to every little detail .
His presence and personal touch were felt in everything you encounter and this makes such a difference .
No words can describe the high level of hospitality that runs in Niko's vains.

Being a manager of a very big hotel myself, I was overwelmed by his passion to hosting and feel we foundn not only a proffesional host but a friend.

The homemade breakfast, made by Nikos, is served in the most beutiful dishes, he remembers your coffee preferenced in the morning , the variety that changes every morning, the amaing jams he makes, the freshly squied juice, the pastriis with the amazing smell and all so yummmy on the beutiful bright white table cloth he puts on to make it homy yet elegant .

Nikos assisted us with wonderful dining recomendations, with reservations ,and we really felt surounded with love.

Thank you Nikos from the bottom of our hearts for such an unforgettable experience, for this amazing hospitality and for being you .

Julia & Tomer

We were happily surprised by the Hotel and the location. Away from the more touristic Portaria and close to the beautiful villages on the east side of Pelion, the Hotel gives you the impression that you are sleeping exactly above the sea, the view from the room is simply amazing. The Rooms very beautiful and clean, equipped with everything you may need, a plus was the fireplace that we used every night and that they allow dogs. The breakfast also great, with different menu served every morning. The owner, very friendly and professional and you can see that he is always taking care of everything to make your stay more pleasant.
We will definitely come back!

The hosting was wonderful and very welcoming. The breakfast is the best we had in a long while, all prepared in house, with varying menu each day, even very selective kids were happy. The rooms were great and air conditioned. The location is unbeatable - sea breeze and great views of the sea , with 10-20 minutes drive to beautiful hidden beaches of Pelion

We had such a great stay. Nikos's hospitality was amazing - from the quick responses to anything we needed to the help with finding local atractions. The rooms were clean and spacious. The amazing handmade breakfast is set overlooking the breathtaking oceanview, with the location offers a quiet and calming vibe. This is one of those places we see ourselves coming back to again!

Great location with a breathtaking view in the lovely village Tsangarada, only 9 minutes from Milopotamos , one of the most beautiful beaches in all of Greece and approximately 30 minutes from the most popular Beaches in east Pelion including Demouchari, Agios Saranta, Papa Nero and more. The rooms are very big and comfortable. The breakfasts are tasty and above all is Nikos's kindnesse, he is the owner of the resort, who will do all to let you feel at home and make the most of your vacation with his advice on each and every issue, (beaches, restaurants, villages, and more), with his big smile and all the patcient needed

Part of me wants to keep this hotel to myself as it was so perfect. Seven rooms on the road between Tsagkarada and Mylepotamos Beach. A little slice of heaven. Both the hotel and town are not the place to go if you are looking for lots of people and you should know you need to drive windy roads or hike to get from place to place but that’s the magic for me.

Now on to the hotel. Beautiful, spacious room with a super comfortable Cocomat mattress. Gorgeous balcony. A fireplace that would be lovely in cold weather and even a kitchenette. Don’t expect a big screen TV or USB speakers here. This place is all about nature and tranquility.

A view to die for, that made me get up every day for sunrise. Millions of stars on a clear night.

And the owner... Nikos. I truly cannot say enough about this man. He is a one-man show. Welcoming guests, giving advice on what to see and where to go and even making a beautiful different breakfast each and every day. His calico cat Betty is also the sweetest thing there is.

Thank you Nikos. We found a perfect home on the Pelion and hope to be back really soon! Sharon and Garry.
