Fabulous location - absolute lakefront. A beautiful villa style building that has been tastefully turned into a hotel. Lift to all floors. Rooms are decorated to a very high standard. We did not have a lake view - we looked out over the buildings at the rear of property. The lake view rooms would no doubt have been superb. There was lots of wardrobe space and charge points. Breakfast selection was excellent and the view from the breakfast area was breathtaking. There is a covered patio area with sublime views of the lake and Monte Isola. The pool and spa area are second to none. Lots of deck chairs and drinks and snacks can be ordered. SUP boards available for borrowing. There is direct swim access to the lake. This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at - the location, the staff & the amenities made it very memorable.

It's hard to choose accommodation in an area you don't know well. We were so pleased that we chose Hotel Rivalago. Lake Iseo is only blessed with average public transport and we did not have a car. This makes this hotel a great choice. It is a short walk (250m) from the local train station and from a Ferry stop. When we got off the train our Google Map took us on a. route that wasn't so easy to get to the hotel. Get off the train ...head alongside the train tracks towards Iseo under a hedge and then you can walk right and down the hill almost to the hotel. It would be great of the hotel put a wee map and phots on their website. We had hoped that the Ferry network would be more suitable for stopping at the various towns on the lake but it's timing limits how far you can go - but we managed to get to quite a few places. We treated ourselves to a panorama room but if I were returning and this room type were unavailable I would be happy as we spent so much time at the pool or outdoor grassed bar area just relaxing, reading or chatting. The pool area is well maintained and attractive. There are SUP's that you can rent. It would be great t have kayaks as well! Breakfasts were fabulous and dinners so good we at "at home" most nights that we were there. Housekeeping worked super hard each day and the reception staff were always kind and helpful. I would certainly return and recommend it to anyone.

The hotel had been recommended to us, and it certainly did not disappoint. The setting is lovely, the service is excellent, the whole situation is perfect. We had a lake view room with small balcony, which we highly recommend. Breakfast was an incredible offering of delicious food, and other meals served were just as good. the setting at Sunset is popular, and we hope to go back.

We spent two nights in Sulzano as part of our two-week trip through Italy. In a vacation filled with highlights, our stay at the Hotel Rivalago stood out. Lovely room #208 had its own balcony overlooking the lake and the island of Monte Isola. The rooms are classic, clean and spacious. Wonderful staff (Lilliana at check-in and Alessandra for lunch and poolside service) and delicious food for every meal. Make sure you take advantage of the pool and steps leading down to the lake for a refreshing swim. Can’t wait to come again.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights recently and how glad we are to have experienced this beautiful hotel. The location was outstanding with amazing views. In fact, when we arrived my husband commented that he knew I had booked a hotel at Lake Iseo but he didn’t realise it was virtually “on” the lake! Breakfast was to be lingered over as it was so peaceful gazing at the stunning lake. We had dinner at the restaurant a couple of nights and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Our room was very comfortable and the staff very friendly. All in all, one of the highlights of our holiday and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

A beautiful hotel in an excellent location. We had the benefit of a lake view room with a balcony. By no means cheap, but it would have been an awful shame to have not had a lake view in this instance, as the lake is almost touching distance. Very comfortable bed, good shower room. Just not that large a room, although the big bed was compensatory for that. And so close to the ferry ports. The closer one is for Iseo and other destinations. The further one (Pontile 1) is for Monte Isola. A hotel to be very much recommended.

Only stayed 2 nights as part of Italian Lakes tour. Although we arrived late morning our rooms were ready and check in was quick and easy. One of the best breakfasts we had. Unfortunately it rained both days we stayed here but location and pool area are great, it’s yards from ferry to the island and Iseo and about 10 minutes walk to train station. Due to adverse weather we ate in the hotel‘s conservatory restaurant both nights and food and service was fantastic in a beautiful setting.

Out of the six hotels we stayed in on our trip, this was by far the best. Of course, we had a lovely room with a charming balcony facing Lake Iseo in this beautiful boutique hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was very nice, the breakfast buffet was excellent and the views from our room and restaurant spectacular. We also had a lovely, private dinner while there, which was scrumptious. Loved our stay.
