Beautiful location and hotel was nice, small and personal. Staff are fantastic. As we arrived out of season many places around had closed but still enough things to see. Grounds are fantastic apart from the wild boars who enjoyed messing up the grass areas over night. Food was of high quality but a little expensive for the size of dishes. Drinks were priced a little expensive too.

Really nice hotel with very attentive staff. Room ok with a few issues but nothing to ruin the stay. The breakfasts were excellent with fantastic views over the bay, big choice all well presented. Evening meal was 4 course but not to our liking at all, in fairness to the hotel they did make a meal that was more appealing when asked. My advice would be go B/B and go to the local restaurants much more choice and half the price plus affordable wine and drinks. The biggest let down was the evening meal without a doubt, way over priced and not the good. The best part was the staff, very good in all areas. Would I go again, perhaps, but eat out.

We spent 11 nights here for our honeymoon and were really pleased. The hotel is lovely and has a very peaceful atmosphere due to the separate low level buildings - we loved this as opposed to the typical high rise hotel you see everywhere. Our room and bathroom were huge. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that our room was cleaned and the sheets changed everyday and we were given bottled water every night. The bed was super comfy, we slept really well. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, we were made to feel like royalty. The restaurant was clean and modern with an amazing paranoramic view, giving you a luxurious experience during breakfast. We ate dinner in there one night. It was very pricey but great quality and excellent service. The pool area was lovely and the private beach was amazing. There were always sunbeds available too. The only downside was some noise from the nearby Phi Beach club on a few afternoons (it had closed but I think they were filming some promo footage possibly). It didn't last into the night so didn't disturb our sleep. Other than that the hotel is extremely quiet, most of the time you could hear a pin drop. Thank you an amazing stay!

Our first time to Sardinia and we weren’t disappointed, our room was well equipped, a bonus with a good sized garden which we really enjoyed, the hotel atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, Breakfast buffet, was extensive using good fresh produce well presented, dinner was fine dinning at its best excellent selection and quality, with a wonderful wine cellar. The resident pianist Luca was exceptional a real talent whose renditions were extraordinary. it must be said considering it was the end of the season the staff were exceptional, always smiling and very professional a credit to the hotel. We will return.

A little gem of a place. The staff are wonderful, friendly and always eager to help or stop for a chat. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is utterly delicious with a wide choice and the quality is outstanding. Great wine list. Saw dolphins off the beach at Tre Monte this year, fabulous! We will definitely be back.

This hotel looks lovely in the photographs but is even lovelier in person. The views from this spot are amazing. Each and every staff member we met did an excellent job - courteous, friendly and efficient. We ate at the hotel a number of times. Food and wine were delicious. A little pricey, but no more than expected in this location. About 15 minute walk to a further selection of restaurants. Our room was well appointed and spacious. Highly recommend for a lovely, relaxing stay.

From the moment we arrived we were treated so well. Check in was friendly and efficient and the receptionist walked us to our room and took the time to explain everything. We had a garden room with private pool, which was fabulous. It was huge, very clean, light and airy with fresh decor and stylish bathroom. Gorgeous toiletries which the staff were very generous with and a very welcome complementary bottle of sparkling wine on ice for our arrival. Really appreciated after the journey. We booked breakfast only, which was a typical fresh continental spread of cheeses, fruit, cold meats, pastries, yoghurts and cereals plus a small selection of cooked to order eggs, omelettes plus small sides of sausage meat and chopped bacon. We had one evening meal at the hotel which comprised of four individual courses with four choices within each (menu changed daily) Each course alone was around 25 - 30€, and although very well presented and tasty, were around a small starter size so unless you are prepared to pay around 100€ per person, I didn’t personally feel justified the cost. A 15 minute walk along Via Tre Monti to Spaggia Libera took us to a selection of beachfront restaurants offering a variety of different meal choices for a variety of price ranges. Without exception, the staff were wonderful. Always genuinely happy to see you and offer help but not intrusive or overbearing. They quickly learnt our preferences for coffee and drinks and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel itself is almost Scandinavian in style. Cool white and cream decor with minimalist styling, marble floors and with a few strategically placed elegant objects which works well with the dramatic rocky landscape. Breakfast is served on an open plan terrace overlooking the sea and the islands of La Maddalena which is breathtaking way to slowly drink your coffee and start your day. In the evening, the sun sets behind the islands and is an equally tranquil spot to have a glass of wine and listen to the resident classical piano player in the bar - who is extremely talented too. There is a small private beach for use by the guests which is around a 5 minute walk from the main rooms and has a bar serving drinks and light lunches. Plenty of loungers and day beds are also available and we never had a problem finding an available one. I would definitely recommend Grand Relais dei Nuraghi. We had a restful, relaxing break whilst staying there and would certainly come back.
