Everything was still impeccable despite the rather special conditions (COVID-19), the welcome, the safety of the place (all protective actions put in place in order to prevent any contamination), the kindness of Tina and Franco, the weather conditions. Don't hesitate to ask Tina and Franco for advice on visits or restaurants. We had not planned to leave this year but after this 3 months confinement, we decided at the last minute to go there. We got a great benefit of being out our usual life conditions. Everything was perfect. We felt safe everywhere we went, museums, restaurants, shops. And despite the difficulties of the moment we were always well received everywhere. We highly recommend to visit La Tinaia still this year.

My parents have come to this place every year for the past seven years and we've had the pleasure to rent one of the rooms next to them for a week. It was such a pleasure staying at La Tinaia. During the day most visitors go about so we had the pool all to ourselves. In the morning birds are singing, during the days crickets and in the evening you'll hear the deer in the surrounding woods. You are completely surrounded by nature at only 30 minutes from Florence. Franco and Tina are the sweetest couple and always available for anything you may need. They produce their own delicious wines and olive oil which you simply must taste. You won't regret staying here I promise!!

We stayed at La Tinaia for 12 nights and had a very relaxing holiday. The apartment (Cipressa) was clean and well appointed, the beds comfortable, and Tina & Franco were great hosts. They were happy to advise on local trips and places to eat out and cooked for their guests once a week, which was a real treat! The pool was warm and relatively quiet most of the time and was much appreciated by our children. This is a great location for trips into Florence and other sites of interest in Tuscany and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here. We hope to be back before too long.

We had a wonderful stay at La Tinaia. Tina & Franco are warm, friendly and helpful hosts who have put so much hard work and love into their beautiful home in the stunning Tuscan countryside. After a long day exploring the region there was nothing nicer than to return to La Tinaia to sit in the gorgeous gardens and watch the sunset over the vineyards after taking a refreshing dip in the pool. Our apartment was comfortable and spotlessly clean with all mod cons and a fabulous hot shower. The grounds are beautifully maintained and we would highly recommend a stay here. We already hope to return in the future. Thank you Tina & Franco for being wonderful hosts and for going above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one.

First of all, I just can't describe enough in words the warm and welcoming feeling Tina and Franco gave us. They work so hard to let you enjoy your stay the best they possibly can. The location and the appartments are perfectly maintained. It's clean, functioning and real Italian. Above all, the garden and there love for it is showable. It looks perfect and gives you the feeling of a true cosy 'farmhouse resort'.
If you love nature, winery, olive trees and respect the peace, this is your place to be.
But! It's not all nature and trees, because Florence is just a small ride away. The tramride is the perfect way to visit the city. Furthermore, Siena, Vinci, Lucca, Certaldo and San Gimignano are close by! Yes, we have seen them all... And don't hesitate to ask Tina and Franco for more 'to explore'-tips. Who best knows the area?

We had the best time exploring Tuscany near Florence from our home base on La Tinaia. Tina and Franco were amazing hosts. They accommodated us in every way. We missed the Sangiovese harvest by one day but we’re there for the harvest of Chardonnay grapes. Franco allowed me to participate in every aspect of the harvest and crush. We will return again.
The apartment was tastefully and thoughtfully furnished. Sunsets were gorgeous, delightful breezes. Excellent neighborhood restaurant Fiore, 5’ away The grounds are so pleasant. Beautiful array of flowers for every season, spaces for outdoor dining with or without privacy. Herbs to pick for cooking and everything sparkling clean. Tina and Franco provide the warmest of welcomes at their beautiful Tuscan property. Whether you are looking for a place to stay which is well situated to visit the treasures and sights of Firenze; or you prefer to relax and enjoy the sunshine and Franco's delicious wine, La Tinaia is a perfect choice for singles, couples, or families. Franco and Tina are excellent hosts. Our family stayed in the two bedroom Il Bosco. The apartment was very clean and well appointed, the views are priceless. We enjoyed staying here, close enough to Florence but a nice quiet place to go to after the masses of people. Don't miss their dinner, they invite the guests once during the week for a tuscan dinner. For a very reasonable charge we joined some other guests for a wonderful meal prepared by Franco and Tina.
The place is well maintained and very clean. We used the laundry facilities as well. Would recommend staying here and hope we have the opportunity to return soon. You do need a car to stay here. Also make sure to try the wines and olive oil available in the rooms, we did!
