Another delightful stay at Colle .Wonderful location and lovely accommodation. The staff as always couldn’t do enough for us . A newly refurbished pool in a dramatic setting in a garden of beautiful trees and flowers .If you want to experience the real Tuscany this the place .

Again we have been at 'Il Colle'. This was our 30th time since 1990. As you can imagine we like to go there! Why, you might ask? Because we like the tranquility and the fact that you can relax in a nearly perfect way. You can cook or there is the possibility to go to breakfast or you reserve your table in the 'Osteria di Donatella'. Roberta, Chef de Cuisine, will make sure that you will have a wonderful dinner in this excellent slow food restaurant. Of course you will have excellent wines from Il Colle and Il Casato. You will taste wonderful Chianti Superiore up their Brunello wines. Stunning! You can go to wine and olive oil tastings, go to the pools, go trekking through the wineyards, etc. Alessia, Sarah and Deborah and all the other team members will make sure you will have a wonderful time a Il Colle Agritourismo. We try to return every year and are never disappointed. Colle is set amidst wonderful scenery and has all the facilities you need . This includes an excellent restaurant and idyllic pools . The staff are so helpful and can’t do enough for you . Most of all we love its authenticity and the respect for Tuscan traditions We can’t wait to return . Roger and Sara Mitchell

I can’t say enough about how much we loved our stay here. Our apartment was lovely and spacious - a tad warm due to the weather - but completely manageable with ceiling fans. Staff are incredibly warm and accommodating. The grounds are lovely as are the views. The 2 pools were perfect for staying cool. The EV changer made our stay all the more convenient. We really enjoyed the wine tasting and their wines are fabulous. Can’t wait to return and we will definitely be back.

A very pleasant stay in lovely surroundings. However, we recommend an upgrade of the pool area. During heatwaves aircondition would have been nice. The restaurant, the wine and the helpful staff makes a wonderful stay. Fantastic scenery !

We have just spent two wonderful weeks at Colle in perfect weather . It was the perfect tonic .Lovely accommodation in a gorgeous setting. The staff as always were splendid and looked after us so well . Top quality olive oil and wine added to its terrific ambience . We can’t wait to return .

We have stayed at this hotel twice before, however, this time was definetely the last. It is outdated and worned out, and to our BIG dissapointment the pool area was closed (did not say anything about it on their homepage). Upon enquiry, and after a reminder the staff put up a table and chairs at the pool area in order for us to sit and have a glass of wine and enjoying the spectaculare view. The only positive thing was the restaurant, besides that they allowed dogs in the restaurant (with two of us being very allergic to dogs), so we had to take double dose of allergy medicin in order to be able to have dinner in the restaurant. The staff in the restaurant was very nice and pleasant and the food was good. The beds were too short for one of us, being 1,88 m tall! It was very slippery in the shower (I had to use one of the towels as a bath mat since, despite my asking for a rubber math from the reception, did not get one. There were two big piles of dog poop just outside our room, on the path we had to use to get to the car and the breakfast restaurant, not very nice. The reception promised a tour of the estate together with a wine tasting, but to our dissappointment, this tour was planned already in advance at a time inconvenient for us, so we could not attend. It would have been good to know in advance that it was planned for others and the four of us was just supposed to tag along at a no-good time. Well, we learnt our lesson - do not revisit a hotel which was so and so already previous time.…

Dear Elisabeth, We are sorry to read that you didn’t enjoy this third stay at Fattoria del Colle. We tried to meet your needs by changing your apartment for one with a better view, and making sure you were having a good experience in our farm. You know that we are a pet-friendly agriturismo and it is normal that all the parts of the farm are open to dogs, however we will pay more attention to the neatness of the courtyards. Thank you for pointing it out. As for pools they are always open from June 1st to September 30th, the website specify it on the page ‘accomodation’. Wine tours are one of the most important and relevant activities here at the farm and we always do everything that we can, to accomodate all the clients within the opening times of the winecellar, we are sorry you couldn’t do it after your daily excursions. We really hope you will decide to come back to experience our tours at Fattoria del Colle and Casato Prime Donne in Montalcino, with pleasure we will offer you a tasting of our wines. This was a first. Is it to Tuscany for everyone in our party. It was a perfect introduction. We travelled I. The off season and as a result it felt like we were exclusive guests. All of the staff were wonderful. Very accommodating and helpful. The site and location are u iquely romantic and certainly set the stage for a realistic vision of old Tuscany and working vineyards. The processes and styles of wine as well as the back story about the vineyard history make this an exceptional value in a vacation stay. Heck out their website and communicate to determine how to make your stay especially unique.

I want to thank you all for the amazing hospitality experience we had during our stay. Everything was fixed perfectly and the restaurant & breakfast are amazing. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, personality was seen through every step! I could only advise to turn down the sales tone a little bit, to make the sales perspective less visible. I had an amazing relaxing stay and loved the openness of all staff members! Would advice your place to everyone and out of hospitality business eye, very good job!!
