Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful campsite, clean and shaded pitches.
At the reception girls are efficient, quick and kind.
Very enjoyable swimming pool, with crystal clear water (unfortunately this is not the rule) and without annoying chlorine aromas.
Strategic position, in the evening you can relax on the lawn along the river.
Very organised! At the restaurant/pizzeria you don't wait hours to eat or for a takeaway. We liked the pizza as well as the sea bass. The gate opening system towards the lake with bracelet is excellent.
Hot showers at the right point and done well! Each cabin has a vestibule with sink separate from the shower compartment so you can store your bathrobe and other items without the risk of it getting wet.
Market well-stocked and with fair prices. Obviously if you go out and go to the supermarket the prices are lower, but some people take advantage of it, not here.
Very comfortable camper service! Wide. One of the few that doesn't force you to maneuver to get in or out.
We have been fine.
Too bad there is no possibility of having an ice cream after dinner.
Slight negative notes (but which do not affect the maximum rating we gave): More rubbish bins, more drinking water points and teaching the lady who cleans the bathrooms would be useful (among other things perfect, from a hygienic point of view ) to check that they are not occupied before spraying pressurized water on the floor. He washed my feet...

Wonderful friendly and helpful staff and excellent campsite facilities. The cabins are comfortable, well equipped and great value for money. The campsite itself is in a wonderful location on the lake and even has a swimming pool and shop onsite. 10/10 experience!

Well-located campsite. Direct access to the lake. 15 minutes to Garda Land.
Unfortunately, construction workers were working, as all pitches are being prepared for mobile homes. The sanitary facilities are clean and are cleaned daily.
We were given the worst pitch, in the middle of the construction chaos. When I asked for a better pitch, I was given one near the lake, but it was a different category and I had to pay the extra charge. We were practically alone, i.e. all pitches were free and unbooked. I would have hoped for more understanding from the management.
In the shop you can find everything you need, but it is much more expensive, so I advise everyone
to shop beforehand, or at Lidl in Pescheria.
The children's play area was closed. The pool was still covered.

Conclusion
Well-located site, clean. It is being renovated and many cabins are being installed. This is also necessary, as it is getting old. Perhaps the pit toilets could have been replaced and toilet paper provided.

The campsite was already known, the mobile home was very comfortable, a wonderful location directly on the beach but we made the mistake of including breakfast in the booking at 13 EURO each. We arrive at the bar, they don't know why it's 13 euros, they have two breakfasts available, the sweet one which includes cappuccino, freshly squeezed juice and croissant cost from the price list present at the bar 5.90 euros and the savory one, two eggs, two bacon fillets, bread, cappuccino and juice. 8'90 euros. When asked for explanations at reception they refer us to Baia Holiday customer service. Back and forth he says he will try to clarify the situation, I say that the first day's breakfast is now gone but I ask to be able to have a refund for the next day's. No way. Neither a refund nor a discount code is possible, we could use it in a subsequent stay... nothing. We therefore paid 4 104 euros for two breakfasts, if we had taken them directly from the bar they would have cost us a maximum of 68 euros (on the first day we actually took two sweet and two savory ones and therefore even less) the lady at the bar came to meet us and asked two toasts in addition. Disappointed...
The only flaw of the campsite is the check-in at 5pm and the checkout at 9am seems a bit excessive to me because you lose a day, I don't think you need all those hours to clean and tidy up a bungalow....

Gasparina is now in the hands of Baia Holiday, which wants to turn it into a 5* campsite, but has not yet achieved its goal. However, the prices have increased absurdly and there is not even a leniency arrangement for the old regular customers who have already made reservations. Often you have to pay 3x as much and pay before December 20, while people don't even know what will be offered. This cozy family campsite has fallen into the hands of an extremely organized organization. People are canceling en masse, including me who came here when I was 57. There are plenty of campsites in the area that are more than worth their 5 stars. But Gasparina is far from that. I don't recommend anyone to go here!

The only positive is that the sea is nearby and we were almost all the time outside the camping. At the pool, the only thing the staff and lifeguards are interested in is:
Paid sun loungers, places in the shade on the floor where you could put a towel could also pay. The staff told us in a very arrogant way. They also did not use the smoking areas and smoked wherever they wanted.
We also paid an additional 246 euros (10 days, 5 adults and 2 children) at the reception. The children are 9 and 5 years old and have been calculated as adults! We didn't pay that much anywhere! Our 4. Holidays on Lake Garda, and the worst camping. Unfortunately not recommended.

The campsite has been taken over by another operator since 2024. And that is NOT an improvement. On the contrary. Where previously all places had the same price and you got a discount for longer stays. Prices for ALL sites have at least doubled and prices for sites closer to the lake have tripled. If you are right on the lake, you pay more than 80 euros per day. Without own water supply or drainage, 6 amps of electricity, currently (season 2024) no Wi-Fi, poor lawn and muddy spots. Not leveled, tree roots and holes.
Furthermore, the waste containers have been moved. The place is not or hardly shielded, so the junk is right in view.
The only thing the new operator has done is install dozens of new houses. Especially very close to each other. The other facilities have not been adapted or improved. New number signs have been placed at the locations. The campers are really waiting for that!
It was nice here last year and two years ago. Many Italian campers. The campsite is more than half full.
Now, same period, just a single lost Italian. And a lot of empty places, especially on the Lake Garda side.
I understand that prices can go up, but there has to be something to compensate for that.
For me, there doesn't have to be an Italian belting out pathetic songs as animation through the speakers every night.

We had been customers for years and wanted to return this year too. We requested a quote and, since the campsite has now become Baia Holiday, the prices are skyrocketing! The services they offer are the same as in previous years but the prices have risen dramatically. To give an example, in previous years they didn't ask anything for the dog, now, for the period of July, they ask for €10 per day! Such a significant price increase should be justified by a few more services.
Obviously we will stay elsewhere and it's very disappointing because we had been customers for years.

All in all, an acceptable campsite even if the pitches are not particularly well looked after, in fact, it is very easy to get stuck with campers and caravans in case of rain.
Prices are expensive but by being able to use the ACSI CARD agreement I thought I had protected myself from surprises, but this was not the case. In fact, when paying, to the €27 per night due in addition to the tourist tax of €1/person, we found ourselves with an addition of €2.80 per day per person as an *ecological contribution" (???) which - let's be clear - they pocket as it is not a tax.
I have been using this agreement for many years and it is the first time I have been asked for an amount different from that established with the Acsi inspectors.
Furthermore, it would be advisable to specify the request for this additional cost during check-in, not just talking about the tourist tax to be added to the indicated cost. I hope that Acsi resolves and clarifies as soon as possible because their good name is at stake.

We stayed two nights in a tent with another family... good campsite, spacious pitches, bathrooms in need of renovation, very good restaurant with good prices, entertainment present but not invasive, beautiful swimming pools... access to the lake via bracelet that opens the little gate, directly on the cycle path. The staff let us stay in the pool for free until mid-afternoon, giving us time to tidy up everything. Given the hailstorm that had caused quite a bit of inconvenience, it was a very nice gesture. I advise!
