I stayed here with a group of friends during a cycling trip. The location is beautiful, overlooking the sea and there is a lovely garden area outside where meals and drinks can be enjoyed. It was a very hot day and we arrived on our bikes and found that there was no lift . I struggled to carry my luggage... More

Simply great location, quiet and nice, great food. The staff and the rest also at the level of the Villa. We had a nice lovely dinner with local wines and fresh fish. We will come back , because it's worth it.

Excellent location, but this hotel needs some attention. It is showing its age and lack of maintenance. Carpet runner on stairs was dangerously loose. Window covers were torn and tattered, which I personally viewed in two different rooms. Some of the smaller rooms have no wall windows, only one window in the slanted ceiling, so be aware that some of... More

Beautiful villa with lovely terrace restaurant. Rooms very old fashioned but are okay for 1 or 2 nights. Air conditioning in rooms, but wifi and tv poor. Restaurant is very popular and we enjoyed a very pleasant evening on the terrace, with a good meal and wine. Breakfast selection small but good coffee! Rating based on overall ambience and good... We went in Villa Andor or "Meštolin" in a sunny sunday in May. The location and the place are really good, a lot of space in and outside; they have a litle problem with the timing for lunch.. after the starters we wait about 1 hour for the first course and another hour for the main course. Quality was good... More

A small Hotel with several rooms. Very individual. The rooms rather small and need some renovation. The bathrooms are not anymore up to standard, but still functional. Free WIFI and a quiet location. We stayed here during a business trip and it fullfiled the purpose. I would not stay for a holiday.

We stayed at Villa Andor while bicycling across Slovenia. The hotel is well-located but somewhat challenging to access by bicycle due to it's hillside location. The building is nicely decorated and well laid out but has no lift to the higher floors. Check in was efficient and polite and our room overlooked the patio and had a great view of... More

Spent a night there while crossing Slovenia on a bike trip. Minutes from the Italian border and the charming old town of Muggia. Lots of great old-world atmosphere. The building is well maintained and the rooms are worn, though warm and welcoming. A large patio festooned with local flora is a perfect place to have a fine meal and enjoy... More

Vila Andor is a beautiful old building, which can have drawbacks - no lift so we had to carry our suitcases to the second floor, and we had a skylight rather than a window. But the room was comfortable and we enjoyed having a meal in the terrace with views of the sea beyond. The restaurant is large and it... More
