Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just stayed here, rooms were excellent and very clean, restaurant and food were excellent. Staff so welcoming and very friendly, going the extra mile. Will definitely be returning. Well done to all, no complaints. Can't wait to come back, maybe in the summer where we can sit out on the beautiful terraces.

Very clean and attention to detail good but was very disappointed with the room given, small dark with dark furniture not what we thought we were getting with Booking.com. Not that much choice in the Restaurant and not particularly outstanding. One receptionist chewing gum, not pleasant.

We spent 3 nights at Heacham Manor and had a very pleasant, relaxing time. Our room was warm and comfortable with views over the golf course. We ate in the Mulberry Restaurant each evening and all the meals were extremely good, as were the breakfasts which are cooked fresh to order.

Very nice and quite posh venue. Had dog friendly accommodation but please note - DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED ANYWHERE IN THE HOTEL. If our little furry friend was allowed even in just the bar, then we would have eaten and had drinks there in the evening. Advertising dog friendly accommodation but the hotel is not dog friendly was a bit of shock.

We enjoy afternoon teas but felt the one we had at Heacham Manor wasn’t the best. The sandwiches weren’t dainty, they were thickly cut and the bread quite dry. The cucumber sandwiches had big chunks of cucumber, the turkey ones had loads of cranberry, the cheese had more pickle than cheese and the ham had far too much horse radish. It’s the first time we’ve had afternoon tea with pickle and horse radish being served without asking if they’re ok ? The scones were tasty but the cakes just looked as if they’d been heaped on the plate. We felt as if we were being rushed too, our table cleared before we were ready, not even asked if we were finished ? When asked if we wanted more tea, what we actually got was the empty teapot just being filled to the top again with the same two tea bags so it was very weak.

We have the menu available for our guests to view prior to arrival and welcome our guests to let us know in advance if any of the listed items are not to their taste or if they require substitutions due to allergies, etc. Rest assured I have passed your feedback on to our General Manger, as we always welcome the opportunity to refine our offerings. We are very much pleased to hear you enjoyed our scones. We will be reviewing our Afternoon Tea offering after January and hope you will come back, so we might deliver the high quality experience we strive to offer.
