Ideally situated for us when travelling to see family on the way to and from Scotland. We stayed in Mallard this time and the apartment was lovely. Very clean, well equipped and real home from home feel. There is a bit of traffic noise from motorway but didn't stop us sleeping. Thoroughly recommended. Be back soon....

Stayed here recently when I went diving nearby at Capenwray Diving Centre and it was lovely, the house was very clean, with gorgeous views of the canal, comfortable beds and everything in the kitchen you could need!! Will be back soon and will stay again. The pub near by is fab too

Beautiful site. Peaceful setting and convenient for the Lakes. Easy distance from Carnforth and Morecambe for shopping and beaches. Lovely walks along the canal. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the boats coming and going.

We were very pleasantly surprised when we walked through the door of 10 Swan House. It was spotless, had everything we needed for a week's stay, views over the Canal Boat Marina and was in a great location to base ourselves. It is very roomy, an ensuite and main bathroom upstairs, a cloakroom downstairs, the lounge room opens onto the... More

I stayed here with my two children, the property was gorgeous with a peaceful backdrop and a taste of luxury , yes the motorway is nearby but there was no noise disturbance and easy for access. Local restaurant the Longlands served beautiful food with a choice of dinner restaurant or bar area to dine in we would highly recommend. This... More

Stayed for the week 19th Sep 2016 and as usual everything was perfect from start to finish including the weather which was a real bonus. We keep coming back because we like our home comforts and the close proximity to the Lake District, this is also an ideal location for the dogs with picturesque walks along the Lancaster Canal. Will... More

Beautiful views across the marina, cute "chill out balcony" with table & chairs which allowed us to take full advantage of some good weather. We watched several amusing groups of ducks going about their daily business, strutting their stuff on the "boardwalk" Our Cottage was spotlessly clean & provided everything we needed. Good location fro exploring the Lakes, surrounding villages... More

A great self catering apartment, with beautiful views over the marina, towards lovely countryside. The convenience to the motorway and good roads, though, opened up the whole of the Lakes and Dales to be within easy driving distance, but for a change you could go shopping in Lancaster or Kendal, or visit the seaside in Morecambe. I would have given... More

Rooms very good. Great location as a base for the Lakes and the Dales. Clean and friendly staff. Bit of a whiff of dogs in the rooms , but cant complain as it is clearly advertised as a dog friendly hotel. Great for self catering

My wife and l chose this location for a weeks break, simply to allow us to seriously chill out. After arriving on the Saturday I was taken seriously ill on Sunday night. This was no reflection on the marina whatsoever. The staff where excellent and could not have done any more to help us. Nothing was too much trouble. There... More
