I stayed here overnight after a get together with friends. The service was excellent and staff attentive. The room was adequate and clean, but was a bit noisy (I was in "Puffing Billy"). I found the price for the room a little high, but breakfast was very good... The bar is well stocked with various real ales and is popular...

Stayed at The George from 20th to the 22nd Jan 2017. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. There is an excellent selection of real ales, and the restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. Had the best steak that I have eaten in quite a while. Breakfast was also very good....

Great location, room, cleanliness, friendliness of staff on arrival and departure. Downside - too noisy with bar music in the afternoon and evening. Became an annoyance. Also was told breakfast was 8am-11am on arrival then told on the morning we only had until 10am. Had to rush. Website says 11am! So that wasn't good. Good car park over road for...

Booked The George for a One night stay for 2 couples for a Saturday day/night on the Town for my Birthday. After checking in early afternoon and hitting the Town's great Real Ale Pubs, we returned around 9.00pm in time for a great Blues band they had on. Really nice place, good ale on the bar and although we cannot...

Very friendly and helpful staff. Tasty full English breakfast. Rooms were well decorated and the bed was very comfortable - had a good night's sleep. The hotel doesn't have its own parking, but is it possible to park across the road in the station car park. Our room was directly above the bar area and it was possible to hear...

I stayed 1 night (28th Octo 2016) as was working in Bridgnorth that weekend. Lovely pub/restuarant with great staff and atmosphere. Although I did not eat there in the evening (smelled good, though!) the cooked English breakfast was great and the room was comfortable, modern and a very reasonable price. Also enjoyed a good live band at the end of...

I stayed here one night and, frankly, wasn't expecting much for £45, B&B, so was pleasantly surprised to find that this (slightly out of town centre) pub has been refurbished to a good standard. Small but comfortable room, large wardrobe, desk and chair, attached to a clean and spacious shower room with good heating and fluffy towels. Excellent breakfast, cooked...
