Just spent 2 days at Parlors Hall and enjoyed every minute. The opulence is still there. Very warm public areas, when outdoors was very cold. The full breakfast is extremely tasty and large. On the second day I asked for half size. Something new since last visit is a full lunch menu, not just sandwiches. Plenty of choice and very...

Following a resume of the photographs of their website the hotel was entirely as expected. Many of the comments below could only be regarded as malicious. All staff were helpful particularly the evening guy who went out of his was to ensure we had all that could be offered. One could say the decorations were a little tired but this...

A lovely, quaint hotel. Quirky and interesting, which makes a pleasant change to many chain hotels which are samey in the extreme. I arrived very late to check in (10:15pm) and the gentleman on reception was very helpful, showing me the best place to park, etc. The room (10) was clean with a lovely new carpet, attractive crisp bed linen...

Truly astonished to see negative reviews . We stayed last week visiting a friend in the area. Perhaps it's not everyone's cuppa tea but definitely ours !! Wee bit retro but more than made up for by the lovely welcome and owner. I can't remember the ladies name however she, and her hotel, were spot on so well done from...

How can you possibly get scrambled eggs wrong? Full of water and my toast underneath was nothing but mush as it arrived in front of me...

Nice hotel, friendly staff. we had B & B and we couldn't fault anything, it was clean and inviting. It has a really lovely bar area. The place is well placed in the lower town but only a very short walk from the Funicular railway to the high town area. The breakfast was very good. We would happily stay here...

Friendly staff. The bathroom needs a bit of redecorating, I had a room with a 4 polster bed. it's unusual nowadays but I enjoyed it. Large screen television in the room. Good parking place. Situated near the river with a lot of shops and restaurants around.

Haven't stayed any wear like this for a long while, very clean and super helpful staff, centrally located with a short walk to Pubs & restaurants. The building has a bit of history. Car parking out front. The rooms are guest house standard, not my taste but they must know there market as it appear to be busy all the...
