We stayed for one night while attending a wedding nearby. It was great value and very clean. The staff really made our stay, they were helpful and really went above and beyond, making sure there was breakfast for our dietary requirements and it felt so homely and comfortable to be there because of that. Wish we had been staying longer!

Stayed here a few times on business. Rooms are clean and tidy. Staff and owner(Liz)are friendly and very welcoming. Breakfast - Absolutely great scrambled eggs and on my visit last week the chef(Donna) even went and got some vegetarian sausages and tatty cakes all of which made for a great start to the day. Definitely stay here when in the area.

We arrived early but were warmly welcomed allowed to check in. The hotel is set in its own spacious grounds with plenty of parking. Our room was large, bright, and and well furnished. The bed was large and very comfortable. The only drawback for us was that the shower was over the bath and therefore difficult to access. The food although a bit limited in choice, was first class. The staffs were friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The proprietor and staff made us welcome during our week long stay. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and the rooms most comfortable. The hotel is easy to find and within walking distance of the town centre.

Stayed with the lovely people of the Strathburn last week and was not disappointed. Arrived to a lovely welcome from Liz (owner). Advice given info on the local trails we could visit. Arrived back late after ordering dinner which was not a problem. Great service from lovely people at a lovely setting. Will most definitely stay again.

We needed somewhere to stay for a wedding that was dog friendly and this seemed to fit the bill so booked up through booking.com. It was obvious that some of the details hadn’t made it through to the hotel staff but to their credit they were very accommodating when we arrived. That theme carried throughout, they have a lovely personal approach and make every effort to make your stay better. The rooms were fine and the restaurant was nice. If we had to stay in the area again I wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Thanks for a lovely stay.

My wife took me here for my 70th birthday for a special meal out and an overnight stay first of all we got a good welcome and shown to our room which was excellent plenty of space and comfortable then we went for dinner and the food was excellent the staff all very pleasant and welcoming they even brought out a cake which my wife had organised and sang happy birthday all joining in which they need not have done but it made the night very special. in the morning we had a superb breakfast and excellent coffee thaks to all for a great and enjoyable time

Stayed at the Strathburn Hotel for 2 nights when attending a family funeral. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff who knew why we were in Inverurie were very helpful, caring and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms are well appointed, warm and cosy. The bathroom are very clean and fresh. The food was great and generous portions especially the full breakfast.

I went here for the first time for dinner on Friday night. We will definitely be back again! Great range of food, and it was served nice and hot. The restaurant, hotel foyer and toilets were immaculate. Waiting staff were very attentive and friendly.

Like several other business travels exhibiting at Offshore Europe 2019 at the new Exhibition and conference centre I opted for a reasonably priced hotel with a short 10 minute drive away. This hotel is a little gem in a nice location on edge of town. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have decent space. The staff are very pleasant and the freshly cooked breakfast was delicious. I never used the bar or restaurant for dinner but they looked nice. My only minor negative was that the hotel lacked some of the features such as a large TV, trouser press, iron etc in room, however this was made up by the homeliness of the smaller establishment.
