What a great holiday we had this week at this hotel. Very warm welcome on arrival. All staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was a good size with all the usual extras. Tea, coffee and some great shortbread biscuits. It was cleaned to a high standard every day. The breakfast was buffet with a great choice of continental...

Only downside was the young farmers party which took place at the time of our stay which was loud and plenty of room switching until...

A group of us stayed at the hotel on 4th March for a 2 night break. This is not the first time we have stayed here, we have been visiting this hotel for the past 15+ years, usually on Valentine's weekend. We didn't visit last year as we all agreed that a break may do us good and the hotel...

Lovely friendly and attentive staff, good breakfasts, spacious and relaxing. A wonderful place with old world charm to get away to at any time of year. The room was well furnished, large, warm and clean. Plenty of hot water and a big bath with shower.

Stayed for one night, dinner, bed & breakfast on a Saturday night. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful, room was clean and well equipped if a little dated. Our room 224 was next to a corridor door and was very noisy in the morning with guests leaving early. I'd request an alternative room if you were visiting. Food was...

Although out of town the hotel is easy to reach by car and the village does have a reasonable bus service. The location is within easy reach of all the main local attractions and walks. If you like walking it is an enjoyable amble along the old railway track from Nethy Bridge into Grantown (we caught the bus back!). The...

Stayed here 28th February. Booked with some apprehension having read some recent reviews. However hotel was traditionally Scottish and welcoming, our room was perfect in every respect and the food was great value for money. Yes, some parts of the building may have been a bit dated but you can't change everything overnight. These unique type of hotels must be...
