Have recently returned from a lovely weekend break at The Pig. Our room whilst not cheap was extremely comfortable and big. It felt like a real treat. The bed was comfortable and we weren't disturbed by any noise from other guests despite the hotel clearly being full. Whilst our room didn't have a bath the bathroom was lovely and the...

Went for Lunch and can thoroughly recommend the Pig nr Bath. Surroundings stunning, service exemplary and food exquisite. Friendly staff a real treat and great value. They even produced a personalised free dish for our anniversary, a real surprise wow factor.

Having been married in mid-Jan (41 yrs ago!) we aim to go somewhere different each anniversary. We had previously dined at The Pig in the New Forest, so were keen to sample another 'pig'. One of the joys of this small group of hotels / restaurants is their (remote) location.... We were unable to arrive until after dark, so couldn't...

We stayed at The Pig after many friends recommended it and we loved our stay. It was cold and the middle of winter and the hotel and rooms are super cozy and relaxing. We arrived early and they tried really hard to get our room ready after a red eye from New York. Then we had amazing spa treatments and...

We stayed at The Pig near Bath for christmas. We loved it here, so relaxing and the staff were great. We had 2 rooms as we had 2 children with us, aged 12 & 6. Although it's not really a family hotel, they loved it as well. Especially the billiards table that kept them amused in the evenings. Food was...

Recently stayed here for 1 night to celebrate my husbands birthday and had a great time. On arrival we were checked in quickly as there was no one else waiting to check in, we were shown to our room which was located in the courtyard, I had booked a comfy luxe room and we stayed in room 1 which was...

Lunch was just amazing - pre lunch aperitif by a roaring fire followed by the best pheasant I have ever had. My partner's feather blade was just gorgeous too. Chilli chocolate pot completed my ideal meal. Our room was superb but breakfast was disappointing. Should have missed out on the full English as the only thing that was freshly cooked...

We visited for dinner last night and had a nice time. Service was excellent, food was nice but I expected more. I paid £25 for a steak and chips which anywhere else would have been £15. It just wasn't worth the extra. Desserts were nice and they had a good selection of beers and wines. The atmosphere and ambiance were...
