Set in the beautiful countryside of the pre-Prynreenes and just 1.5 hours' drive from the bustle of Barcelona, Forest Days offers a unique outdoor accommodation experience where the thrill of a night outdoors can be enjoyed with all the comforts you'd expect to find in a boutique hotel room. We have a small number of lovingly furnished cotton tents set across 5 hectares of forest and meadows. Each tent comes with everything you need to start relaxing from the moment you arrive with each tent strategically positioned to give you your own private space within the forest. Private eco-bathrooms are located close to each tent and there is a communal area close to the house with hot showers, flushing toilets, electric points and an honesty bar. A delicious breakfast is delivered to your tent door each morning and evening hampers of home cooked local food can be provided on request.
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.

Don't hesitate to book this one of a kind amazing location. John and Montse are the perfect hosts, they have given careful thought to every detail to make our stay one we will never forget. The grounds are a combination of beautiful mountain, forest and meadow. They have carefully set each tent to insure privacy and take advantage of the natural surroundings. We stayed at Captain Cook's Camp, perfect for a couple. The tent itself is very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. A delicious and very generous breakfast basket was set at our site every morning. A composting outhouse near the tent was surprisingly easy to use and very clean. A short walk away were common toilets and showers. An outdoor kitchen with grill and stove top made making lunch outdoors fun and easy. John shared tons of information about the local area that is full of outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming and kayaking. The best thing about our experience was just having the opportunity to re-connect with nature in total luxury. John and Montse have taken care of everything in a thoughtful and environmentally conscientious manner. Just one regret, we should have stayed longer!…

This place is unique. Hidden in the mountains behind a private gate this camp site has only 4 spaces! It could have hundreds if it was the normal camping experience. But the owners of this place had a special vision and a dream to offer the camping experience that they themselves preferred. - A true nature experience. Nothing is left to coincidence in this place. Wood and hemp material is is a theme that goes through everything from the hemp rope door handles to the hemp mats in the tents and the small hemp strings that are meticulously put around the handle of the breakfast basket with a little note to wish you a good morning. The toilets are beautifully made in wood as is the bookshelves in the tent. The large beds are amazing with crisp white linen soft duvets. We went exploring the mountains and climped rocks to find small streams and cascaded with ice cold water to swin in. Just lovely. Bring lots of books!…

We had such a wonderful stay with John and Montse. The level of detail and care they put into the place is unparalleled - it is evident in every part of the place. The breakfasts and special dinner we had at our tent were so special and memorable, and we loved walking and swimming in the surrounding area. Can't recommend the pace enough!

The decision to forego traditional camping in the UK this summer, and instead go 'glamping' at Forest Days, has to go down as one of our best ever. We enjoyed a wonderful couple of weeks sleeping under the canvas, eating alfresco and taking in the beautiful scenery. Our hosts, John and Montse, really couldn't have done any more to make us feel welcome, comfortable and entertained, with their recommendations for things to do and places to visit. In fact, they went well above and beyond what is generally accepted as good customer service to track down a bottle of red wine for us!!! If you're after a place to relax, unwind and enjoy the outdoors in a beautiful yet little-known or visited corner of Catalonia, then Forest Days should be at the very top of your list of places to stay.

I absolutely agree with the comments made by other travellers. You really get the best of both worlds - camping with comfy beds and a perfect bathroom! And there are lots of lovely spots in the surrounding countryside where even in peak season you can be by yourselves. We initially hesitated because it is kind of pricey for a family of 4 in one tent. But then cheaper places are rarely this nice! The thought and effort that John and Montse put into their place shows and I would happily return.

Due to our work, we have visited more than 150 B&B in Catalonia, and we can ensure the Forest Days Glamping is unique in Catalonia. The owners, Montse and John, built themself everything and are taking care with so much love and effort each single detail on the tents, breakfast, landscape design, bathrooms, outdoors kitchen... so much taste! Sleeping in a tent spacious and beautiful like these, among the trees with the sound of the birds and awaking is a pleasure difficult to explain. We went for a weekend on early July and we want to repeat in autumn or winter to experience the sensation of being inside the tent with the cosy fireplace and if we are lucky, raining outside (the tents are waterproof and built on a wood platform). It must be such a special feeling. We stayed at the Captain's Cook tent, the most isolated and listening to the river, perfect for a couple. The tents are so spread that we didn't see the other three. If you go with kids, next to your tent they can put another one, replica to yours but in a smaller size (fitting 3 kids)... I wish I was a kid :-) We suggest you leave your smartphone home, bring a good book and pencils to draw and some food to cook at their fabulous outdoors kitchen. Relax and enjoy the experience! -…

We stayed for 3 wonderful days and can't recommend highly enough. The site is set in the most beautiful country side with many walks and rivers to swim in plus some amazing local restaurants. The attention to detail that John and Montse have given to everything is fantastic - we loved the breakfast baskets delivered each morning! We'll be back...

Where to start. The owners have put their heart and soul into this, and it shows. Camping in total comfort. Thick crisp white duvets, soft fluffy white towels. Hot showers with great water pressure. Stunning views, peace and tranquility. The breakfast basket was truly fantastic. This is not something that has been thrown together, a lot of thought and consideration has been put into it. Fresh local fruit chilled and crispy. Amazing toasted fresh bread. Butter, spreads, cutlery, coffee, fresh orange juice, cakes...i could go on. All packaged in 100 per cent recyclable brown paper bags, each bag the correct size for whatever treat it holds. Owners are a wealth of information and lovely people. I could go on and on.....try it, you will be so happy you did.

We visited Forest Days 2 nights on the way home from a holiday down on the coast. It puts of a neat trick of feeling like wilderness camping while having the convenience of good facilities. The tents are Soulpad canvas bell tents, coincidentally we regularly use the same. As a family of four, we had a 5m main tent and a 3m tent for the children. The encampments are far enough apart to be invisible from one another, meanwhile there's a nice central food prep and eating area with shower facilities close by. Breakfast is delivered to your tent, which is a luxury touch. Very pleasant hosts, full of advice and directions for excursions. Being in the foothills of the Pyrenees and in the middle of nowhere, the sky is very clear and light pollution is non-existent and our best moment came on a clear and moonless night. To the East a thunderstorm over the Costa Brava, Barcelona glowing in the distance to the South, while above us a fantastic starry sky full of movement with planes and satellites. To top it all, the ISS made an appearance. Superb! Bring a tablet with a star map app (GoSkyWatch, or similar) and a pair of binoculars.…
