Popped in to have a swift half and possibly some grub. Was met by the landlady wielding a knife saying that the place was closed because she was cleaning the pipes. It wasn't at all threatening by the way just a bit league of gentleman. Will definitely pop back though just to see what happens next!

First visit, bar looked very clean, staff very friendly as were the locals. Had a long chat with one of the locals. He is 90 and his walking stick has badges from all the places he has visited. Very interesting. The roast was good and very good value. We have booked in for next week.

The Mount View is a small friendly family-run hotel with knowledgeable staff. The hotel is very reasonably priced, and is ideally situated for exploring West Cornwall. The hotel is very close to the beach. The breakfast was first rate.

The toilet seat lid wouldn't open without lifting up the main seat. A black and white television positioned so high on the wall you had to stand up to...
