On our tour this " hot springs inn " was a one night stand. It was on the lake with pretty view, however futon beds and sparse surroundings were not serene to me. The dinner was very varied, and kept on coming, very nice. The highlight was to be using the hot springs - naked and not alone - isn't...

Staying here for one night with the Discovery tour group. Much more contemporary than I'd expected from other reviews. My room had a small deck overlooking the Japan Sea. Wish I had more time to enjoy it My room was spacious with standard amenities, and the sleeping mat was set out while we attended our included Kaiseki dinner. I was...

We enjoyed lagoon view from balcony or window, experienced relaxing onsen, slept on mats. There was rich breakfast for any taste. Room is clean and comfortable, hallway needs renovation. You will not get iron in the hotel. Hotel staff is nice. Visiting Kaga was part of our Gate One Travel' escorted trip.

We were very pleased with this Hotel. The hotel has an excellent location next to the lake and you can have a best view of Shibayamagata fountain and Ukimido temple. The outside of the hotel doesn't look luxury but the interior of the hotel is very comfortable. Had a little welcome treat of tea and sweets in the hotel's cafe...

We stayed in a room for 5 people for one night during Golden Week. Service, food (both breakkie and dinner), onsen, everything was superb, there's nothing to complain about it! Totally recommend for who want to relax and forget about everything else.

Took Shinkansen to Kanazawa to start off our adventure. Spent two nights here with my family of four. Stayed in a room with a private onsen, the Tenku No Ma. As we arrived we were greeted with tea and rice based snacks. Our room was very spacious- living area with tatami mat (where at night these would be replaced with...

Dear bruceleefan Thank you very much for staying in Kasuikyo. I'm very happy because you introduce "Tenku-no-ma" wonderfully. I remember the day when a rainbow was seen, too. It was beautiful by a very big rainbow, wasn't it? I'm looking forward to see you again. From Kagakatayamaduonnsen Kasuikyo Sawamori

Don't understand about all the ill comments. It's hotel is indeed very nice! We stay at the new wing with the new furnished rooms. They are huge and extremely nice. Western beds with a cute Japanese tea counter. And we also have the full crab cuisine which is exquisite! Please check out my photos. My combination of new room with...

Completely agree with the previous reviewer from Gate 1 on a carpet situation. Otherwise I fully enjoyed my stay, especially the Hot spring with a beautiful view of the lake , which is actually a lagune , connecting to the sea. Looking at sunset and soaking in the hot tub outside was unforgettable experience. Sleeping on a futon was surprisingly...

We chose this hotel for a short one night stay so that we won't have to drive an extremely long way from Toyama to Minamichita which is over 300km. So we already expect it being a basic hotel but we booked a newly renovated room which has a balcony facing the lake where there is a small fountain in the...

My wife and I just cam e back from a Gate 1 tour, that made a stop at this hotel for one night. We could not believe that Gate 1 would put us up in such a run down hotel. The carpets through-out the hotel were soiled, as were the chairs & coaches in the lobby. When we checked in...
