Fantastic place, nice room and bathroom. The people are really variedly and the outdoor pool is laying near the fruit trees and has a really nice size. All ingredient from the diner were from their own gardens. Dinner in the courtyard was great, so was the breakfast.

We stayed here for two days while traveling to a friend's wedding in the South of France. When we first drove to the outside gate, I was speechless - such a beautiful and unusual place! Luckily for us, it was an offseason, so we got the whole place pretty much to ourselves. The owner showed us the property, talked about...

The rooms were situated on the second floor in an old tower... The spiral staircase leading up was special. Michel , the owner was gracious and extremely helpful. We had dinner in the dining...

This visit was one of the highlights of our trip. It's a beautiful property several hundred years old. The owners, Isabella and Michel, were wonderful hosts. Their country estate is lovely with grounds covering fields and vineyards. I have to say being an animal lover, I fell in love with their dog, Gloria, and their cat whose name I never...

This was the highlight of our 12-day trip to France. Isabelle and Michel are excellent hosts. The optional dinners were well prepared, as were the included breakfasts. The rooms are good-sized and comfortable but you should be able to climb stairs to reach them. The grounds are impressive, and it’s a great base for day trips to the surrounding area....

Domaine De Lamartine is a wonderfully maintained Chateau in the heart of the Rhone Valley. We visited in late April 2012 and used this as a base for sight-seeing day trips. It is easy to find and conveniently located in an idyllic rural setting. Michel, our host, and his family where welcoming and only to helpful in suggesting worthwhile locations...

“We had a room facing the back yard, which was awesome. They only have four rooms so I expect the other rooms were similar but some with a double and twin. Wifi was accessed in our room although owners did not think it could be. It was erractic, I confess. There is a "common" area for the four rooms but the light switches are timed so be aware that you may have to hit the switches frequently. Wifi is better in that area. It was very quiet at night, whcih is great for sleeping. No TV's in the room. You either have to read or go for a walk on the grounds. When we were there in late May, it did not get dark until 9:30ish pm. A true French experience.”
  • View from our room of fields, pool, and vineyards. Great place to walk in AM or PM.
