This is my second visit to Belle Vallee, after originally finding this 3 yrs ago. The English hosts, Victoria and Richard are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in the 'Rose' room, a beautiful double room with a large bathroom with sunken bath and separate shower cubicle. The accommodation is a Napoleonic farmhouse, with a separate Gite on...

What a fabulous discovery Belle Vallee has been. It's setting is stunning and the warm welcome and high standards offered by its owners Victoria and Richard cannot be understated. Nothing was too much for them. The room was spacious, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The breakfast each day again I can't fault with choices of pastries, cereals and endless coffee....

Victoria was on hand to receive two very wet and cold motorcycle guests! We were made SO welcome! The Rose room was delightful - complete with a deep and luxurious bath! Heaven! We dined in the tastefully decorated lounge where a wood burner had been lit. The platter was beautifully prepared, bread, cheese, meats, salad - and all washed down...

Rode our tandem from Ouistreham to Domfront for the Hastings festival. A weekend mini adventure. Simply wonderful room, grounds and service. Victoria and Richard are seriously committed to doing all they can to make your stay as you would wish it to be. You could eat at Bistro St Julien in town if you don't dine at Belle Vallee. Really...

Stayed here for two night with a group a girlfriends. Victoria could not have been more helpful, from helping us sort our walk itinerary to booking our restaurant for the evening. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the breakfast delicious. The attention to detail was superb, from tea and cake in the garden on arrival to the superb breakfasts. We...

After a long holiday in Spain we stayed in Belle Vallee for our last night in France before getting the ferry from Caen to Portsmouth. Richard and Victoria made us very welcome on arrival at their lovely B&B and as we did not want to go out for a dinner after a long drive, Richard very kindly prepared a delicious...

We stayed here for four nights. The accommodation is very homely and has lovely well kept gardens in which you can read one of the many books available at Belle Vallee. Its in a secluded area so very private and is ideal for a complete chill out holiday. Victoria and Richard make you feel very welcome and work very hard...

Only there for one night but had a very pleasant stay. Huge light bedroom with view over garden and big en suite bathroom with big bath and shower. Tea served on arrival, good breakfast. Lovely grounds and gardens n a lovely rural setting, but which meant driving to a restaurant. Lovely big living room also for guests.

Belle Vallée it most certainly is, as the pictures clearly show. I have to confess that I already knew I was in for a treat as both my sister and brother-in-law as well as my parents have loved this place for years. In every respect it lived up to their recommendations. Victoria & Richard, and Charlie, made my stay a...

Years ago, on our first visit, out into the garden came bundle-of-energy Victoria with tea and cakes on a tray and we were hooked. Richard and Victoria know how to mix nothings-too-much-trouble professionalism with a relaxed welcoming style that makes everyone feel at home. Belle Valle is always spotlessly clean, freshly painted and a joy to visit. Victoria's dinners are...
