Chateau de Bouceel is fabulous! The Chateau is beautiful, each room is different and the decor is lovely. Although you are staying in a very old residence, all is updated and very clean. The bathrooms are first rate and bedrooms are spacious and so very comfortable. Breakfast is served in a beautiful dining room with white linens, fabulous croissants and... More

We enjoyed a very special night in this chateau and felt privileged to be surrounded by the magnificence of this residence. The Comte is very welcoming will share his interesting stories in regards to the history of the chateau and his family. Our room (Nelly's) was very richly decorated and very comfortable with a spacious bathroom. The lovely Erika treated... More

What a fabulous stay... We stayed in the Marquise room which was absolutely stunning. The Count and his wife are great hosts sharing. Do have him tell you about the history of the family, fascinating and inspiring. We will be back!!

We arrived with a bit of a chip on our shoulders as our original intent had included a different spot that would have been more convenient to our itinerary. All that washed away pretty quickly after spending some time with M. de Montefeuil, hearing some history of the house, the Nazi occupation, his time in America and so forth. On... More

This is nothing like staying in a five-star hotel or B&B, this is like being the private guest in the house of nobility! While they have operated as a B&B for years, you still feel like a guest in their home, from the library to the billiard room. The Comte spent so much time talking to us, showing us where... More

We, a family of four with two girls of ten and twelve years, stayed six nights at the Chateau in July. From the booking to the farewells we only experienced kindness, proffessionalism and great personal care and warmth. We had to change the booking back and forward a bit and had no problems in communication by e-mail with the patient... More

This is the PERFECT place to stay on your next visit to Mont St Michel! Peaceful, tranquil, out of town, it is such a lovely retreat! Been in the same family for generations. The owner is extremely nice, multilingual and willing to share family stories. These honestly were the highlight of our stay! ASK HIM ABOUT HIS FATHER! Impeccable service,... More

We loved the chateau. It was every bit as comfortable and polished as a 4 star hotel. The hosts are very friendly adding to a most charming experience. I will go back again. So happy to discover it. The setting is lovely and peaceful. One small caveat, the breakfast is supposed to be included but we were charged for breakfasts... More

Dear Sir, We thank you for your nice review. I think you have misunderstood our invoice. In it we legally have to specify each item included in the invoice: rooms," breakfast", taxes because the VAT percentage is not the same for each of them...So and for that reason " breakfast" was written on the invoice but INCLUDED. I confirm you... More
