Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Stayed here for a week at the end of July, just a lazy vacation week.

Pros:
Good food (albeit a bit boring since there's not much variation from day to day)
Nice pool
Okay rooms, though our air conditioning broke down twice (and the second times they didn't manage to fix it) which made it hard to sleep due to the heat
Nice terrace, but got a boring view towards the street (bad luck, since from most of the hotel you can see a nice mountain view)
Kinda central location

Cons:
Hard to get to from Nice airport unless you feel like renting a car and driving in the crazy French traffic (fortunately we had a friend willing to give us a ride there and back again)
Food only served at certain times (12-14 lunch and 19-21 for dinner), tough luck if you arrive at 15 o'clock hungry
Coffee only served with breakfast and bar is closed 14:30-18 so no coffee during day
Internet only in reception area and since there's a lot of kids there it can be hard to get anything done (not to mention that the internet works kinda badly)
Only some of the reception staff could speak English, so tough luck if you don't know French
Kids, lots of kids, running around screaming. Of course, this might not bother everyone.

Anyways, had a nice time despite all the cons, just mentioning them so other travelers are prepared.

We just came back from a wonderful long weekend with family in the French Riviera. We had selected Hotel Club Vacanciel Roquebrune-sur-Argens because it was in about 1 hour radius from the places we were planning to visit. The hotel is excellent. The staff was very pleasant and helpful and everyone in the reception spoke English. The rooms were clean and very well looked after. The setting of the hotel is amazing. It is set in beautiful gardens and has great views across to the village. Roquebrune-sur-Argens is a picturesque village and one night we decided to take a stroll and have some dinner there. There is a small selection of nice restaurants in the area. The hotel is child friendly, there were a lot of families during our stay. Our four year old boy had to trouble finding new friends. We would love to go back to the same hotel next time we are in the area.

Roquebrune is stunning and a wonderful base to visit the coast nearby or do some wine tasting. The hotel is spotless and the service is second to none. The food is plentiful although not much variation...There is so much to do, swimming, tennis and organized excursions. Highly recommended especially if you have children. There are superb kids clubs across the age range included in the price!

t is lovely, budget place to have as a base for a visit to the French riviera. We had a two bedroom house with the kitchen. Local village was near by and it was the most authentic village of all we visited on the French coast, not touristy at all. You can buy cooked food in the Carefour and enjoyed on the house veranda, believe me it is much better than a food they serve in the restaurants

Small, but very comfortable rooms that are quiet because they are situated well away from all the activity areas. Great pool area. As a couple, we didn’t plan to be here as this was more a family place, but kids are kept amused in other areas with activities, so you don’t see them much. Easy walk to village. Just two issues: the receptionist wanted to charge us nearly twice the rate we saw on Booking.com. They matched the price, but when we extended our stay, they still kept the nightly price at the Saturday night rate, which is well above the high season price advertised at reception and in the room. Secondly, this hotel has so many facilities and activities but there was ZERO information about these in the room or offered at reception.

The hotel is great if you have a car and plan on driving to different beaches/places everyday, so it was perfect for us! There is not much to do in Roquebrune sur Argens, but there are a lot of activities planned at the hotel, great swimming pool, tennis courts (if you're staying at the hotel you get to use the courts and the equipment for free) and even french karaoke evenings (so much fun)! The staff was very friendly (spoke very little English), gave us some info about the beaches around the place. We had the breakfast which was good, not so much fresh fruit & vegetables though, our room was clean and we also had a little terrace (great for sitting outside relaxing!)

Last minute change of villa for an apartment not planned for 3 people! Our 2.5 year old son's bed was under the TV's electrical and tnt sockets. No security! He must have slept in our bed the entire stay. No apology from management for this huge disappointment, no compensation. We have done a lot of Mileade and were always extremely satisfied but this one is a disaster.

The facade is beautiful and the place is pretty. It’s a shame that the cleanliness of the rooms and especially the canteen buffet catering mean that the 3 stars are not justified!
The site has just reopened and not all activities were accessible.
The heated swimming pool closed, too bad!
The fitness room closed and through the windows, it was dilapidated and dirty, too bad!
The sauna could have been offered to us, nothing, too bad!
The catering part, around 150 people, was very noisy. The food was really the problem for everyone in our group because no quality products and a choice of 2 limited hot dishes without taste and small portions, we very clearly felt the search for profitability, too bad!
Plus a queue to be served this dish and during that time, the director and others were eating at a large table with the children? what organization?
The starter buffet always the same with dishes prepared with leftovers from the day before? see more like re-served sauerkraut cabbage seasoned for 2 days? And to finish the dessert buffet with frozen cakes? Shame !
A welcome drink served on the fourth day? ditto profitability, a small glass of kir or multi juice without biscuits.
And where the plug is pushed far, the room is only cleaned once a week??? I have traveled a lot in France and abroad and I have never experienced this.
As the evening entertainment is not encouraging, the host still has training to go through to attract the public.
The only positive point is the friendly waiters who do what they can but also take turns eating during the service???
Bravo for the courage of the breakfast waitress.

Obviously, we do not recommend until there are corrective actions and we will not return!
THANKS

the Roquebrune sur Argens site, we are very comfortable there, you need a vehicle to get around, but otherwise the site is very pleasant, quiet, we like the swimming pool, the meals and the entertainment.
