My stay was in September and it was hot. I had to keep the window open at night in an attempt to cool off my room. The noise of a small creek running below was very soothing to fall asleep to. Unfortunately, not all rooms overlook this stream and others in my group complained of road noise. My room had...

Hotel Slalom was a comfortable and affordable base for a week of hiking and exploring the Mt Blanc area. Tracey is the perfect host, providing thoughtful tips and ideas as well as running a highly professional operation. Les Houches is a pleasant and quiet alternative to staying in Chamonix, with frequent connecting bus services.

Just returned from a ski/boarding trip staying at Hotel Slalom, the hotels location was perfect with the option to access the mountain from Bellevue cable car across from the hotel (30 second walk) or take a 3 minute free bus trip to Prarion cable car. You can ski from the top of the Prarion to the front door of Hotel...

For the last 3 years we have stayed for the weekend. Tracy who owns the hotel is very friendly helpful and efficient. The rooms are spacious and the hotel is perfectly situated right at the bottom of the kandahar. The village is sweet and has plenty of restaurants and places to eat and apres ski. This is the second time we have been to Hotel Slalom and it never disappoints. The hotel is well appointed and expertly run, by the ever so friendly Tracey. Set 50m from the Bellvue ski lift, and only an hour from Geneva airport, the hotel is perfect for a weekend break or extended stay. The rooms are contemporary, the beds...

Tracey & Caroline made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived to the time we left. The rooms were warm and...

We booked two nights before starting the TMB and were so happy we did. This is a very comfortable hotel with a knowledgeable and helpful proprietor. Tracey is friendly and attentive and her dog Brooke is a beauty. We had room #8 which overlooked the peaks we were soon to become acquainted with. Can't imagine a better room. The breakfast...

The hotel is a small very pleasant well run hotel. We had a nice room with balcony, view of Mont Blanc and a tub to soak in after our days of walking in the mountains. Tracey was charming, helpful and a most pleasant hostess and the hotel is in a perfect location being right on the TMB route. It was...

A big thank you to Tracey for a wonderful and welcoming stay before and after the TMB in September. The rooms are spotless (as are the bathrooms) and the neat little terrace outside the room is great for watching the world go by or looking up at the big peaks opposite. You are also right beside some of the best...
