Very friendly people, welcome drink of your choice (free), rooms are small but cosy and clean, good breakfast, and the restuarant offers excellent food. This hotel is very child friendly. The location of this hotel is somewhat remote, but is great for walking and mountain biking. Also, the hotel is located next to the origin of the Donau river.

We stayed here one night, during a hiking by the Westweg. But, if it have been possible, we would remain for more time. The staff treated us with warmth and kindness. The room was cozy with a beautiful view from the balcony. The splendid dinner and a good price. And the breakfast fantastic and very complete.

This is the most beautiful and outstanding guest house in village Furtwangen in Southern Black Forest Region, in a remote location, with unbelievable hospitality and breathtaking sites around. This is a third generation family owned guest house run most efficiently by Christoff and Katherina . We , a family of three, initially planned to stay there for four nights and...

The location was perfect, in the country and away from city life. The staff was incredibly helpful as well. We loved the dinner here, but be aware the stop serving food at 7:30pm. The food was fantastic though and prices were very reasonable. Breakfast was good, though no hot breakfast was available. The room was comfortable, though a little more...

This is a really lovely remote hotel. The owners and staff are all very friendly and the room we had was spacious and very clean. The restaurant served large delicious meals throughout the day and even though this hotel is hard to find it is very popular. The area had wonderful walks with great vistas all around. I can only...

We stayed here passing through to the Black Forest. We had the family-sized room with bunk beds that the kids. The staff was incredibly friendly and Frau Dold took time to show us the property. Dinner and breakfast were very good and it was nice having a dedicated children's room just down from the restaurant. Very comfortable stay.

We had a wonderful stay! We had the family-sized room with bunk beds that the kids found very comfortable and fun. The breakfast room is very cheery, and the hot chocolate was a nice treat! Frau Dold gave us good advice for a morning hike. We will plan to stay at the Kolmenhof the next time we visit the area.

Stopped here on a short trip to Germany and the area, and this was the perfect place to base ourselves. On arrival the welcome was friendly and personal, and this remained in place over our two day stay. We travelled with or two boys over Easter Sunday and Monday, and there were chocolate eggs at our breakfast table AND in...

After a climb of a few hundred meters, we arrived at this friendly Family-run farmhouse hotel. We dined here every night aswell. Great food and super nice staff. Their dog was friendly to our dog too! Walks from the property were long, it takes a while to get to the "good" part. We will probably return.
