Stayed here two nights with friends and we all had a wonderful time. Sabine and Sylvia are wonderful hosts and could not have been more friendly and helpful. Our rooms were spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable beds, nicely equipped bathroom. The breakfast was fantastic, big selection of food and so nicely presented, plus nice big cups for the tea and coffee!...

Had a great 2 day stay here, the hotel is very clean and the owners very friendly! The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had!! Biggest surprise was that we received a SchwarzwaldCard for the duration of our stay, which gave us a free ski pass. Would stay here again.

This is a nice clean and modern hotel with a great breakfast. The hotel is actually in Menzenschwand which is a few miles from Sankt Blasien. The small town doesn't have much there, but isn't too far if you have a car. Only complaint was lack of heat in the morning.

We stayed in the hotel for 6 nights begining of September. We select this place based on tripadvisor recomendation and the fact that this hotel has an elevator. We enjoy every minute. The hospitality, the room, the area around, the breakfast, everything was perfect. I strongly recommending the place for everyone.

A very warm welcome in a very comfortable room. The guest card meant that many local museums, activities and attractions were included, so it turned out to be very affordable as well. We had no problem with our very weak German, as the hosts were more than willing to interact in English. The village is very quiet, but that is...

Following an eight night bed & breakfast stay at hotel Silberfelsen we cannot find words to express our big thank you to the host and hostess running the hotel for making our holiday one of the best holidays we have ever had. The hotel is located in the small village of Menzenschwald which is complemented with the natural Black Forest...

This friendly hotel was the perfect get away for re-charging the batteries. The bedroom was so functional and well set out with a great view from the balcony. The bed was comfortable, as were the pillows and the black out curtains really did keep out the morning sun, so we got a great lay in. The bathroom was sparkling clean...

We stayed for two nights here and, although the rooms and beds were simple, I would return in a heartbeat. Sometimes you do not need all the fancy bedding, expensive smellies and cable TV - just mother nature, a friendly town, a cosy bed to retire to, and a delicious breakfast to kickstart your day. We had a day of...

It was just relaxing and absolutely great to stay in this nice "Garni" Hotel. The rooms are comfortable. The breakfast more than you can eat with a great choice. The management was helpful, friendly and accommodating servicing all time. Thank you for the great breakfast surprise at my B-Day!

I just spent two nights at the Hotel Silberfelsen, and everything about it was lovely, from the warm reception to the well stocked breakfast buffet. It is a traditional German hotel that is ideally situated with very quick access to hiking or skiing in the Black Forest. The village is very small, but it had everything we needed and all...
